Anno 1800 is crashing roughly 50% of the times, just after startup (about 5min into a savegame).
The screen either freezes or goes fully black (with no input from the pc), while i hear the GPU fan going crazy.
The only solution is to hold down the power button and manually restart the pc. Usually after that the game works fine. I know, a bit weird behaviour, as if the games needs to dry run first..
Does anyone have an idea to solve this?
Thanks in advance.

I'm running it on Windows 10 Pro, on a Core i7-4771 @ 3.50 Ghz, 16Gb , a 2GB Geforce RTX 2060 and an SSD disk.

Shown below the logfile, i found in the savegame folder. Not sure if it provides any info.

Hello @Gluiperd13 thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear of your game crashes.

Can you double-check your GPU and Vram specs? I believe the RTX 2060 should have more than 2GB of Vram - the game needs at least 8GB of Vram to run according to our system requirements for the game.

Looking at your event log, it appears some game files are missing which may be causing the crash. In order to fix this, can you please try verifying your game files in your game launcher, this should repair any game files that are missing or corrupted >>

Thanks for getting back to us @Gluiperd13 - I've removed the screenshot from your DxDiag for privacy reasons, however if it comes to it we will ask for these files via a private channel.

Are you currently using the most up to date drivers for your GPU (I was unable to confirm this as the date was cut off).

A new GeForce Game Ready Driver ver. 571.48 was released on 27th September - could you please ensure you've got this installed: (https://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/driverResults.aspx/193306/en-uk) and let us know if there's any change?

I'd also suggest the further steps in our guide here as well as running a system file check too, just to ensure there's no issues with your PC files too.

Let us know how you get on!

Heya @Gluiperd13 , thanks for trying these further steps from Ubi-TheBerry! Unfortunate that they didn't fix it 😞

Please see our system files support article, which describes two specific files we can use to help diagnose the issue. However, we can't do this here on the forums for privacy reasons, so once you've got those two files prepared, I'd like to invite you to reach out to our team directly at the links below. Please feel free to link to this existing forum thread in your message to us, so the agent responding can see what's already been said.
