Hmmm, I haven't heard of that specific easter egg! I'd be interested in knowing more too, I love Easter egg hunting. Hopefully someone here will have more information about it!

Release Notes for Game update 3.1
After we received reports that some of the issue in Game Update 3 are not resolved and an instance leading older savegames to crash, we plan to apply an hotfix to Anno 1800 tomorrow June 7. at 2pm CEST.

• Fixed an issue blocking players from finishing the “Prosperity for All” campaign quest on savegames created prior to Game Update 3. When players now load an older save, the game will check if the prosperity quest is active but cannot be completed and will then automatically resolve the quest for the player.
• Fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the game client after loading an old savegame with an active mission.
• Fixed a stability issue with the railway system, which could cause the game to crash in some rare instances.
• Fixed an issue that locked players from constructing buildings in their coastal area.
• Fixed an issue with charter routes missing their information ...

Union Update: Anarchist and City Promotion

Dr. Hugo Mercier just arrived in the world of Anno 1800, bringing with him not only a lot of new content for owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition, but also the free Game Update with its more than 200 improvements to the game.

Owners of the Anno 1800 Pioneers Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition can now include the Anarchist, who comes with new content such as 50 additional quests and items as well as new propaganda and a defection system, as a second party character when creating a new sandbox game.

And if you don’t want to miss out on Mercier, owners of the Standard Edition can also upgrade to the Digital Deluxe version to get access to the DLC as well as digital items such as the soundtrack and additional company emblems.

Highlights

Game Update 3 adds support for The Anarchist character and associated content for all owners of the Digital Deluxe and Pioneers Editions. Owners of the Standard Edition can buy The Anarchist as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade.

The first expedition event from our Anno Union contest and vote, �The Great Sickness��, is now in the game and awaits intrepid explorers.

We have reworked interface elements for the World Fair Monument, the Court of Justice and the Excavation Site. These new menus will give players better readability.

You can now find new items for purchase at the harbors of Eli Bleakworth, Archibald Blake and Carl Leonard von Malching
