Is there any sure way to know if we interact with a dev? Any sort of symbol next to their name?

Not that I know of... I hope so! That would be pretty cool.
What platform are the devs more likely to play? Cause if it's PC only, someone like me on Xbox might never meet a Dev.
I plan on primarily playing on PC but I know several folks who will be mainly on console. It’s certainly possible :)
I really hope it stays as awesome and positive as it currently is after launch. So far the devs have been the best I've seen of listening to the community and reacting, the launch bay being an awesome example of this.
This sub staying positive and constructive will hopefully encourage that relationship. They've already shown they can take suggestions and roll with them, and very quickly at that. If people start spamming demands and being negative it's probably going to discourage them.
Basically, I'm sure the game won't be perfect post launch, and will have things we'd like to see, or have changed. I think as long as we keep up expressing both points we like, and improvements we'd like to see, but doing both in a civil and positive way, we can keep that up with the awesome dev team, and this game will be great for a long time to come.
The plan is to stay active regardless of the state of the game and the subreddit. We know there will be challenges, awesome moments, laughs, frustrations, etc and we plan on being here through all of it.
Launch is just the next milestone, we’re already working and planning many milestones after it. We’ll need your help and feedback to be agile enough to change course where we need to.
I'm beyond hyped for Anthem. Grindy, loot based games are among my favorite. I pre-ordered, bought the Prima guide, and got a few posters for the game room. I love the direction this game is going. I was very hyped for the demo, but duty called.
I'm now floating in the ocean (Navy), so I'm going to miss 6ish weeks of Anthem fun. The internet isn't sufficient for Youtube, so I'm reaching out to fellow Freelancers for pictures of Javelin builds, paint jobs, etc. I'm not worried about spoilers or anything like that. If anybody could link me to their pictures or PM to me, i would be very grateful. I want to feel included as much as possible in this awesome community.
Thank you Freelancers everywhere!
Edit* This took off more than I expected. Anyone playing on PC, PM me your Origin info and we can group up in the future.
Thank you agregg81, know that there will be a Javelin in the launch bay waiting for you when you get back. Strong alone, stronger together.
I'm not saying he's not doing a good job - but getting people excited and engaging with the community is basically his job now that the game is 'done' (or at least gold)
While true, a huge part of the team (Ben included) are already eyeballs deep in the Live Service plan and making sure we continue to deliver new experiences to you ASAP. We’re taking our breaths where we can but our job is far from over.
I know opinions are a dime a dozen but I can confidently say that you and Camden have been the biggest influencing factors in pushing me over the edge to purchase this title. I've been following it on and off since 2014 but I was going to wait, along with all of my friends, until a few weeks in to see if it was the real deal.
I speak for all of my friends when I say that you two single handedly inspired enough confidence for 7 additional game purchases. Keep up the PHENOMENAL work.
This means a lot. Just know that we’ll be here after launch come hell or high water too. Can’t wait to play with y’all soon.

Thank you for your service and safe sailing, Freelancer. The world of Anthem will be waiting for you upon your return and this Reddit is about to be lit up with all sorts of awesome discoveries and builds :)
Ben Irving, the producer for Anthem, has been a Twitter question answering machine. I don’t know how many questions he’s answered, but he has incredible patience, and is doing a great job. It’s great to see such a high level of engagement with the players. Also, I’m sure he has loads of other things to be doing with launch right around the corner.
Two thumbs up. He’s going to need them. His must be tired.
You are all very sweet. Thanks for being a great community. I know all of us who are active on social media appreciate it
Yay! I just want to say the sound of the various explosions are on point! I imagine I will be having a lot fun with the big boy collossus and all the exploding goodness that it brings. Thanks again.
Thanks!
Sure if you're free. Should I PM you after demo launches in case it is fine when servers are up and I can tweak setting?
Sounds good!
Sound is a huge deal for me in games. It really adds to the feeling of power when your guns and abilities have epic sounds.
Some of the gunshots and gun sounds in Anthem feel a little weak and I was initially thinking this is by design as they want "standard" guns to sound standard so that "legendary" guns can have incredibly beefy sounds to match their rarity.
But since you asked for constructive feedback I thought I'd mention this. Truthfully, I enjoy more punchy unrealistic sounds than realistic sounds. Look at COD BLOPS 4 for example. The Paladin has the most unrealistic Sniper sound ever, but it feels SO GOOD when you shoot and land a kill with it.
Crunchy, bassy, heavy sounds should be used for guns that fit. It seriously makes a big impact when you're using headphones.
Preaching to the choir :)
They definitely scale with rarity - and we want some impact to upgrading your gear, something we have found lacking on some other titles.
What sound mixing will the game be getting? This would be a good game for Atmos sound mix
That is under discussion. We didn't have enough time to do it tbh.
You guys are so responsive, it is simply amazing! As a huge PC player I love getting my hands on as much customization options as possible. I hope there will be just as many graphical options (for pc obviously). I'm the kind of person who will spend hours getting the perfect settings setup to my liking or customizing my characters. Excited for both!!! (Also this game is my most anticipated OST since witcher 3 or mass effect 3 hands down)
Awesome! Yeah user customization is kinda our bag. Any more suggestions throw em our way!
Read moreyeah keep it at - 23 lkfs @ 100% volume but please have the slider at 50% by default, we all have decent pcs that we set our audio levels then along comes a new game at with the audio up at max when you launch it, happens every game and causes alot of messing to turn it down without losing your hearing. i would be nice to see by default the volume slider at 50% by default and if people need to turn it up they can
im not sure also if you have considered the opening volume levels? there is a few games that has the credits at the start of the game that is set to max volume also with no way of controlling it, can you see if there is anything like that in the full release that would be like that? my audio setup is finely tuned by myself around lots of different programs, most games i would set to about 20-40% master volume from ingame settings, along comes the opening credits at 100% volume every time you launch it, i would usually have to take the headphones off for the 20 sec...
Hey great feedback. We could easily set the defaults to 50 percent on PC only. 24/48 would best.
For the opening, your defaults are stored in your local settings so once you turn it down once it should stick (I think they are tied to Origin or something, so maybe a new playthrough you would have to redo).
Hey there! One thing to keep in mind is these don't represent final, stamped for all of eternity pricing. We are iterating on our economy design and balance almost daily, so you're seeing a snapshot of one iteration. This is why we tend to not discuss things like pricing, because it's one of those iterative things that's sure to change frequently right up until the day you play the game.
