The team and I are working to bring you all the best patch notes possible. I too enjoy reading why things are changed instead of a blanket "XYZ weapon now does less damage". I'm also open to feedback on patch notes, so once our first ones go live I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Hi everyone! So I have preordered Anthem for Xbox and will be playing the demo on that, but I also have origin access on PC and downloaded the demo there as well. My question is I want to try two different javelins across the two demos, but which one would be best suited for PC controls?
All of them would work perfectly fine with a mouse and keyboard although we are definitely keeping an eye on feedback around this area. Best bet is to load in and choose a Javelin that you'd see yourself playing a lot of and use the VIP Demo as valuable time to get used to it :)
Camden, are you playing today? Do you want to squad up when the demo is live?

That my good sir, is the real question! I can't decide between Interceptor and storm. I have always been an AoE caster player at heart no matter the game: WoW, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls, you name it. But the Interceptor looks so flashy and cool, and I love the get in and get the hell out look of the play style. Send help, my mind is on overload lol.
So I’m actually going through a similar identity crisis. See I ALWAYS play the tank. WoW, Rift, Guild Wars, Division, Dragon Age, pffft you name it.
But that Interceptor... hoooooly sh*t.
I will say I feel like the team really captured the “all-powerful-wizard” power fantasy with the Storm. If that’s your normal go-to, you won’t be disappointed this time.

I don’t think I have ever seen this before. Usually every response is specifically focused on PR. If it isn’t for the best, nothing is said. But you actually responded, even knowing that the answer isn’t something we may not be pleased with.
Listen, u/BioCamden, THIS is how you keep a healthy community. THIS is how you make a game. Not picking and choosing the parts that only benefit sales of the game, but telling us EXACTLY what the game entails so that we can make a justified purchase.
I despise EA. They’ve let me down far too many times with disdainful predatory practices and games of poor quality. They’ve single handedly killed Star Wars gaming.

Don't mind that big EA symbol too much, i'm a gamer and a person above everything. I've been around for a lot of years, check out my twitter or my reddit comments - Im pretty casual :). It takes nothing to wish someone well in their journey, just doing my bit <3.

Will Anthem feature any way for the players to know how well they performed in the mission? Aka dps/damage done, damage taken, headshots, revives, etc
Also, how will the servers be allocated? Will there be regions like NA/EU/CN/AU or will we connect to one big server? This is mainly aimed at how the average user ping will be.
Will there be a way for us to check our ping too?
1) there are medals at the end of an expedition that reflect your contributions to the mission. It’s not specific stats like in your question 2) there are servers located around the world, we match you to the closest one 3) I don’t think so, I’m sure someone will work out a way to ping them out of game

Maybe I’ll create another EA account if I am desperate after a bad choice, but since the Demo is going to be overall less difficult, I don’t see that happening! Best dev team ever :D

I once received an achievement on xbox 360 called "meet your maker" and it was for beating a developer of the game in a side by side on guitar hero. Proud moment for 15 year old me.

I think that's an awesome attitude to be going in with, and very encouraging to hear! I for one am pumped to try the demo tomorrow, and see what else you guys have in store for us.
Knowing the game can be a live, evolving thing is really cool, and I certainly plan to do what I can to share my feelings with you guys as it goes. Knowing that it's not falling on deaf ears and actually makes a difference makes it feel worthwhile, and much as that seems like it should be a given these days, it really isn't.
Kudos to you guys, and keep up the good work! I'll be jumping in at launch tomorrow :)

Hey! So the plan is that everyone starts with the Ranger Javelin at level 10. At level 12 you have the choice of unlocking one of the other 3 remaining Javelins. Also from what I understand progress and account state will be retained between the two demo sessions. No way to reset your demo account to try the other two.
