Homestead Update Tomorrow!

It's finally arrived! We're beyond thrilled to be releasing Structure Plus (S+) and the long-awaited kibble rework (now packaged together as 'Homestead') to all of our survivors March 5th 2019!

If you can dream it, you can build it! Homestead includes the major elements of Structures Plus (S+), a player created Sponsored Mod by Orionsun. S+ has maintained a large following of users over an extended period of time, and its move to console has long been requested. We are particularly excited to finally be able to share this with our console survivors who will be using it for the very first time.

MAINTENANCE COMPLETE On February 27th beginning at 12pm EST we will be conducting a small maintenance on a portion of our Official Servers. We expect maintenance to last for approximately 1 hour. During this time the servers will not be running therefore time will not progress. Once the servers are back online, they will require re-adding to your favorites list as they will have new IP addresses. Below is a list of all affected servers.

ARK: Valentine's Day Event Concludes!

Our Valentine's Day event has concluded as of February 18th midnight 12:00 UTC. However we will not be redeploying servers to officially end the event until 10am PST tomorrow, Tuesday meaning that event rates will continue until 10am PST tomorrow.

Event items and creatures will only stop appearing after your server has been restarted. Event items such as candies and chocolate will not despawn after the event concludes.

On February 20th beginning at 7am EST we will be conducting a small maintenance on a portion of our NA Official Servers. We anticipate the full maintenance duration to take a few hours however the servers will be booted back up shortly after they are taken down, which should minimize individual downtime.

Below is a list of servers that will be removed on March 4th. You have from now until 1:00pm EST on the 4th to move your belongings onto a server not present on this list. More details about this removal are included in Community Crunch #169.

We're looking into the cause of the connection issues. The servers should be joinable currently however while we investigate.

Last time on Wildcard Workshop we built a transition material, this time we're going to put it into practical use.
We'll be making use of replication, event dispatchers, dynamic materials, and timelines. Some things we've covered previously, and some new. There will still be some quirks in this system, some that need to be worked out in the future after we have built out more of the mod. We take care of them in the future.

Beginning tomorrow, February 12th until February 18th, love will fill the air as we celebrate Valentine's Day!

The ARK will be placed under Cupid's loving spell. With this event, creatures have also been affected by Cupid's spell in the following ways:

Red, Pink, and White colored wild creatures can be found wandering the ARKs searching for true loves kiss.


When mating, creatures have a 25% chance to drop an item. That item has a 50/50 chance to be one of the following:

Valentines Chocolate: Restores full HP, or knocks 40% off a creatures taming bar.


Valentines Candy: Gives your tame random dino colors when eaten.

All servers official and unofficial will also experience the following bonuses (auto-activated or can be toggled manu...

Attention Builders!

Fancy yourself a top tier builder? We want to see what you can do with the new structure changes!

Hop into the beta (details on how to do that below) and build to your heart's content using any of our officially supported maps (The Island, The Center, Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction). You can do this in your single player world or your unofficial server if you have access to one. We’ll be picking the best builds submitted to us for featuring in an upcoming video trailer showcasing the building changes to ARK similar to the announcement video we did for our latest mod contest.

MAINTENANCE COMPLETE

Following the EU maintenance from last night, there will be some additional maintenance on a subset of the servers from last night. Beginning at 2am CET on January 31st (8PM EST January 30th) we will be taking down some of our EU servers for maintenance. We will be performing successive hardware upgrades, therefore the affected servers will be shut down in waves across the maintenance period. A list of all affected servers is below by platform.
