"What the devs think I do" ππ
Found this online... Accurate?
@AnnaJMcDougall Ah, I'll be working. Hope you have fun!
@AnnaJMcDougall What time is "tonight"? π
@absrdlyobfscatd Look where you decided to complain about our (hard working) QA.
Game devs spreading awareness about the industry in which we work- in this case sexual harrassment, inequity in salary, abuse, bro culture and, a suicide - is not the place to bring up bugs in any game you play
@absrdlyobfscatd
@ComplexMinded you're a good egg
When I was younger I used to think "not my problem" when I saw an injustice that didn't relate to me.
But as I got older I realized that mentality just doesn't get the job done.
We can't have more "not my problem" people than "I'll make it my problem" people.
Make it yours.
@vegetto71 @ChrisPratt @SaltSingularity @saltylifeforme I thought it was entertaining for sure. Was it a 5-star movie? Who cares, I enjoyed it a lot lol
@Gaohmee I'm passionate about this topic π
@Gaohmee It's amazing what happens when you start to hold the people around you accountable and start making things your problem even if they don't seem directly related to you.
@Gaohmee I talked about this with a female coworker honestly. it starts with me holding my co-workers responsible and educating them (if they are just socially unaware).
@Gaohmee β€οΈ I'm here if you ever need a non-judgemental ear to bounce stuff of
@NotDollie π€
@Gaohmee Hold your closest people accountable. Just imagine if everyone did that.
It's systemic, that isn't hyperbole.
Sad.
