What I did want to mention is Genesis 2 isn't the end for ARK 1.
The team plans on supporting it with additional updates, content (did I hear a new map?), and bug fixes throughout 2022 - leading up to ARK 2.
It isn't the end. It's just the beginning.

@DododexApp @Valheimgame Furthermore, introducing large-scale building changes on a LIVE game with this much built-up history is challenging from a dev perspective. It's likely you will end up breaking everything that's built. It's a BIG hurdle to take on at the 'end of development'.
