TBF to that guy, the original question was asked 14 hours ago and his was 7 hours ago. It's completely understandable that you're not on here 24/7 to answer everything, but it did look a bit weird that you answered the issue about the YouTube link pretty quickly but didn't drop a line about the issues still being worked on until now. I think that's where the frustration came from.

Regardless, thanks for the update, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

That is fair. 14 hrs ago was 6:30pm, so I may have missed it when I was working to get the video fixed. And I try to get done around 6:30-7pm daily or I will find myself non-stop replying up to midnight.

Hey u/Braddock512,

One last question, any place we get one of those sick T-Shirts you were wearing in your On The Battlefield video? Looks like an awesome Battlefield V Shirt! Loved this format for a Dev talk video by the way. Very real and natural!

Those are sold in the internal DICE LA store. Even the folks at Stockholm don’t have them (they have a different shirt). Let me see if I can get a budget to buy some for giveaways.

(I miss the old public DICE Store.)

Is the team aware of the see through wall bug on Devastation?

Got a video? I can forward it on.

It’s a top priority and mentioned in the Quality of Life Tracker.

It would be nice to get an update though

If I had an update, I would’ve posted it. Im checking JIRAs and the Confluence pages today to see where they’re at in getting this locked down. As mentioned by the person you’re responding to, it is a top priority.

And I know how y’all love “we’re working on it”, so not sure what I can say.

BFV is basically completely broken, borderline unplayable for some people right now. Braddock is very obviously avoiding questions about it, as usual...

I literally just answered your question. I’m not avoiding it. Jeez. (This isn’t the only place that I answer things, so I can’t answer every single comment immediately.)

I don’t have an update yet because they are working on it. When I get the notes for the next update (coming at the end of this month), I’ll have more details.

I know it’s frustrating, but the game isn’t “completely unplayable”. It definitely needs some attention to the performance issues - and it is frustrating and impacting the playability- and that IS a priority with the Devs.

And about the game-breaking performance issues?

The team is working on performance issues, especially the stuttering.

My bet are maybe C4 launching or the tank rolling on another tank to go up.

Let me check on the date, but I believe it will be bundled with the base game update. I’ll try to get that info today.

Ready for a new way to play Battlefield™ V*? As Chapter 3: Trial by Fire ends, you’ll be able to tackle the unique challenges of Outpost mode.

In a hurry? This is Outpost in a nutshell:

A new multiplayer experience available for a limited time starting June 13 In it, you fight for control of radio towers, that can be built, upgraded, and destroyed Controlling radio towers earns recruits – once a team reaches enough recruits, the match is won It's playable on the Arras and Mercury maps It features 64 players total: 32 players per team Defend and Destroy

With Outpost, we’ve created a game mode with slightly more emphasis on defense and tactical play, where the kill count isn't as vital as controlling key points. You can however still expect a lot of action, as the control points you’ll be defending will see a high heat – and you have an opportunity to do a great deal of destruction. Let’s dive into the rules.

Hey u/Braddock512,

Can you confirm at all if any new music/ost is coming in future updates and DLC, it's always nice to have new music paired with the geography of the maps and factions. The Battlefield games have always had great music and i'm enjoying the soundtrack to this one immensely so far.

Let me see what we can do about getting our Soundcloud page updated.

Braddock would you ever consider bringing out a rotation of limited time game modes so there’s always a ltm on the go cuz I really enjoy the ltms as they shake up the game

That’s definitely something I’d like to see. And I’d love it if we could get y’all a schedule - like 4 weeks at a time - of the LTMs so you know what’s coming when. Let me follow up this week.

More game modes??? I loose my self in the menu. Instead spending hours brainstorming more modes, and pushing them to players, why not improving platoon support, competitive scenario in game. Things like this make a stronger and loyal community.

Just make battlefield, feel more like battlefield.

It’s different teams that work on different things. I’m following up on expanded platoon support this week to see where these community tools are within the hierarchy of priorities.

You also could internally pitch a Oculus/Vive support for cockpit-freelook ;).

Yeah and then the next step would be hooking up the move controllers right?

I've played it 1000 times (for obvious reason) and I've never seen that either. I don't seem OP has done anything special either... Thanks for pointing that out. This seems to be one hell of a unique bug /u/DKCD
