Did you guys set a limit for the event calendar? Say, that for example after 2023 Jan 1 the rotation will be gone/servers go offline?
Nope, it continues for as long as the servers are up or someone makes a decision to finish those events :)
The chance of us adopting it as part of the regular rotation of events is quite slim, but it isn't impossible. We aren't looking to make any changes to the current rotation of events though. Perhaps depending on community response, maybe, but we'll see.
It is worth noting in general, the development of Star Wars Battlefront II has ended for quite some time - anything that is done to the game is out of passion by a small crew of diehard Star Wars fans that want to see these events work and happen alongside us doing our regular day to day/real work.
We'll see what happens, glad you're really enjoying the event though - it was one of my favorites back in the day! "Okay, what if its just... everything. Dialled up to max?"

We had issues in activating the event, to make up for that as well as celebrating May 4th - it is extended to May 6th at 23:45 CET.
I like how Kylo Ren is keeping Grogu at lightsabers distance.
If you do things too often, they lose that special feeling. Even more so when it turns the game to complete chaos.
If we did it weekly (like I've seen suggest), that would mean that for a portion of the community that can only play on those days, they would never have a 'normal' experience, which might not be ideal.

FWIW, there are some of us who really like the BB droids! Not only do I think they diversify gameplay in such a unique way, but I also just think they're fun to play with. BB9E is great as a support hero in trooper modes. BB-8 is just a tank on any tight-quarters map. I'm really glad they're in the game and think you guys did a great job with them.
Star Wars is a big galaxy, there is something for everyone.
I still cant even begin to comprehend the thought process behind the beach balls update. Like ok, they dont want to add ahsoka or ventress to the game but why the f**k do the pick the balls, there is so much missing. We could have had mace and bane or any other f**king character but nooooo we get the f**king bouncy balls.
"don't want to add..." is a pretty big statement for a team that loves Star Wars.
I read the CT again and It isn't there, so I probably am mistaken about where I saw it, but I am 99% sure they work like that, and that this was talked by the devs. u/F8RGE u/T0TALfps am I really mistaken about this?
