Hello! Glad you enjoy the game. We have indeed plans for additional content in the coming seasons. We haven't released many details on it yet though, except the next clan which will be the Ventrue (like Hendumaica pointed out above).

And do not worry, we will be working hard to deal with exploits and cheaters - it is a constant battle in a live multiplayer game.

Hello. I am one of the devs at Sharkmob. The anti-cheat software we are using for Bloodhunt had two bugs in it at release. One such bug resulted in the application sometimes running for up to 90 seconds after shutting down the game. The other bug resulted in some files being left on the drive after uninstall (the bugs are in fact connected). Both of these bugs have been fixed and patched. There is no spyware in Bloodhunt, only an anti-cheat that functions the same way as most others used through out the industry. The community member who initially discovered the issue has even confirmed that it was bug related and nothing else.

Hello. I am one of the devs at Sharkmob. We launched into early access about two weeks ago. One reason we chose to go with an early access first was to fine tune some systems and features. The anti-cheat is one of those systems. In order for it to function optimally we need to run through a certain numbers of matches and player behaviors. We are also discovering some bugs that have allowed people to cheat - some of those bugs have already been fixed and others are being worked on. Even then, we know cheating is rampant in online games and cheaters will keep coming up with ways to abuse the systems. So its a constant battle and one we are willing to take in order to get a fair and enjoyable experience for the players.

Hello Bloodhunt community!

We have just pushed out a backend fix for a bug that could affect players that have over 300 steam friends, which resulted in an issue where your friends online status would not properly work in Bloodhunt, resulting in it being impossible to invite them to a group.

If you had previously ran into the issue, let us know if it works for you now!

Hello!

As you may have heard we have two issues related to our anti-cheat, one which is that some files may remain after the game has been uninstalled and the other being that in rare cases the anti-cheat doesn’t exit when you close the game.

We have been working on fixing these issues as fast as we can and we now present 2 solutions for the uninstall issue.

Uninstall

For the anti-cheat uninstall issue we have now deployed a fix to Steam so that the anti-cheat services should be uninstalled when the game uninstalls.

I have already uninstalled the game, what can I do?

Hello Bloodhunt community!

We heard from you loud and clear that you feel that our XP earn rate is too slow and grindy. Now that we’ve been able to evaluate battle pass progress in a live environment with real players, we totally agree with you.

So we are happy to tell you that we have been working very hard to implement new, fairer XP values.

When we settled on the current balance prior to the release of the game, we had intended for the battle pass to last for most of a season if you are a moderately active player. The values we selected were based on internal testing and we fully expected they would need adjustment. Ultimately, our goal is a fun, rewarding experience that respects players’ time.

For full transparency, here are the modified values:

Hello South American Bloodhunt community!

Since we launched our game in the Steam Early Access Program, we have seen quite a lot of players from South America playing our game.

With this in mind, we would like to evaluate if adding South American servers will improve the experience for the players in this region and see if there are enough players to have dedicated servers in the region.

We are happy to announce that starting right now we have enabled LATAM servers which are located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

We hope that our South American players will be able to help us put pressure on these servers and also spread the word about our game so that you can have a fast-matchmaking experience.

Additionally, we also rolled out an update to our global matchmaking system which now looks for Bloodhunt matches outside of your region if your local region is currently low on players and it's taking a long time (2.5 minutes) to get matches going. ... Read more

Just as a heads-up that Bloodhunt does have Australian servers for its Early Access. Please spread the word as we hope to put some heavy load on our Australian servers!

Hey there,

At the beginning of the game, there will be only the 3 clans you mentioned. Later on, we already announced that the Ventrue will join the fun. After that, it's all speculation :)

Bloodhunt is indeed our first game. But we are not hired to create Bloodhunt, we are both the developer and publisher of Bloodhunt, and have a mix of both veteran developers and new ones alike. :)
