Black Screen in BR Issue
Please respond here with any reports of encountering a black screen issue (which is also generally associated with crashing) since the Season 13: Winter War update. If you have been seeing this long-term, since before the update, it is okay to reply too but please state that it is not specific to S13. We are trying to see if this issue is new and specifically tied to this update.

Thanks in advance to all who reply and here is the information we need to appropriately investigate this issue:

• Frequency of crashing/black screens
• Mode or area where it occurs (in case it isn't clearly just Battle Royale)
• UID (please don't share Open ID, only UID)

Greetings, we have certainly seen the requests for that one but there isn't any news or information we can share about that being added into the game. Hopefully it will at some point, but for now we have no hopeful news about that feature. Sorry.

Hey, yes that's tied to one of the bugs we are investigating in the list above. The team is pretty sure they found a fix for that one and it shouldn't be an issue for much longer. Thanks for bringing it up though!

Haha, an insane year of bug fixes sounds both menacing and hopeful! We hope as well that we get lucky in relation to easily reproduce a lot of these issues and quickly finding resolutions so that we can knock out a ton of them in the next update. Greetings, we mainly do those for people who flat out weren't around when that first launched. If we launched something five months ago then there are likely a huge number of players now that weren't around then or completely missed that offer the first time around.

We also sometimes make updates to a design and give that automatically to everyone who already owned it, but then that gives an extra reason to include that in one of these Redux draws. We have thankfully been able to use the Redux draws as a mixture of a new and old content, like the Gold Standard one right now. Redux draws shouldn't have an effect on the design capacity on our team who is making brand new content.

Heya, yes there is most likely some of each (perks and attachments). So far every season we've been able to add a few perks or attachments through new weapons, new blueprint designs, or just the general update. However, we don't have any information on specifics at the moment. We'll try to keep an eye out for that and share in a future update once we start sharing some news of content for the next season.

Ah, yeah unfortunately we aren't aware of a way to view either of those stats in-game right now. Hopefully we'll be able to link to that soon or we'll have some updates to the profile section to add more specific statistics like that.

Isn't Ranked supposed to be full of "sweaty" players who try as hard as they can? Or do you mean even at lower ranks you are seeing some fiercely competitive matches?

Greetings! Yes, we are familiar with that character in Black Ops. Sometimes we are able to bring over other characters from the console/PC Call of Duty titles, but usually kind of celebrity characters like that are specific to that one game. However, we are working on quite a lot for 2021 in general and have some unique characters coming that we hope will help you feel that representation as someone from Latin America.

Heya, no there are no plans to remove those. There always plans to optimize, improve, change or test things in the store, but we do not plan to flat out remove crates from that ecosystem at this time.

Heya, congrats on the first comment haha? We currently don't have any plans for integrating into the COD Companion App. It is a bit more designed to sync with the console/PC versions, so from a technical standpoint it is complicated in relation to linking this mobile title. However, we similarly would like to make it happen if we can find a way to do so that isn't too intensive.

Yeah a little bit too soon, but we are almost to that point we are going to start teasing and sharing a little bit from the next season. Also, yes there are always new weapons ! No hints on those just yet.

Lastly, related to fixing the game, yes! We are absolutely trying and have many different people working on chasing down a variety of issues listing above but also some general & long term ones like latency, desync, and performance problems on certain devices.

Happy New Years Call of Duty: Mobile community! We are back with our first community update of the year and with a rather unusual one to start it off with. When we last chatted we were just finishing up a long line of public test builds and had released Season 13: Winter War. That season is still going strong with the main featured event, Counter Intelligence, launching yesterday alongside Grind Mode, a new credit store update, and more!

We've heard that one asked about quite often and we unfortunately don't have any information on if a revamp is coming. It is certainly a known request though.
