Hey everyone, we had some issues we wanted to address with the first build that we released over the weekend and also some new content we wanted to drop, so we are starting a second version of the Public Test Build today! Find the new download link below.

Fair joke :P, but we give out all base functional weapons for free. Something we implemented a long long time ago in order to make sure that free/paid mix felt balanced and purely cosmetic. It is just a damn fine looking weapon.
We agree! Silly story to share about this, but when our team who makes all of the art that goes out on social media or in the community updates saw this default skin we thought it must be wrong because it had so many interesting details and colors. Not to say other base/default weapon skins look awful, but to your point it is pretty damn unique looking compared to most of those.
I see your point there and from my understanding It’s limited, but possible. Might wanna remember the team that Android and iOS are both different OS, which means, different bugs and performance issues(as reported many times in this subreddit). But anyways, I just think that both OS getting a PTB should be a priority for the sake of bug hunting :)
It is definitely possible in the future, but probably only if we do a bigger public test build that is going for a longer period of time. Thanks for the kind and logical response by the way.

We are checking, but that's not entirely uncommon based on our previous public test build releases. Usually that just means there was an error with the download due to an unstable connection or some kind of corruption, which would then be fixed by uninstalling, deleting the original download, and starting over (ideally after restarting your device). However, we are checking with the team to see if there is something they can do on our end.

That's a pretty common-ish error unfortunately. Usually those steps we listed out in the post will fix that though, but it definitely takes a bit of tinkering sometimes with using different browsers to download, clearing out the original download that seemingly failed, restarting your device, and starting it all fresh again.
Weird tho, Apple has their own beta testing program called TestFlight and It’s pretty easy to start a test for your app, just need a planned schedule when releasing the application to Apple.
It is a bit more complicated than that unfortunately. We can't get into the specifics, but to do test flight it requires a whole different process (compared to Android) and there are more obstacles in general. Doing these tests on Android only allows us to be a lot more nimble in relation to just simply hosting a DL link, adding content, or changing things last minute.
I’m actually really upset right now. I used to have an android device but playing cod basically ruined it so now I’m stuck with an old hand me down iPhone. I’ve been looking forward for this for a long while to be let down like this. :’(
No worries, we aren't too far from the actual release of the next version of the game (the new season) so it won't be long until you get to checked out the more polished version of all of this alongside plenty of other features that aren't included here.

Hey, sorry to hear that. Presumably you don't have any similar issues loading up the main game/normal build? Also, have you tried any basic troubleshooting like restarting your device or reconnecting to the network?

Is the QXR gun available for testing? I was really looking forward to testing that gun specifically
It might drop in there later, but we do not believe that new weapon is available right now on release.
Ok tried it with vpn and it works now. Was it country blocked? Im in Bangladesh
Ah, it could be if that is normally a country that wouldn't have access to the game in the first place, but we are assuming your main account/game was through the Google Play store based out of Bangladesh? We would have to double check to see if that a country where the game is normally available.

Can the next test servers pls be compatible with iOS??
Hey, at the moment with how it is setup by our devs it is strictly only accessible via Android. We have definitely seen the requests to try to do it on iOS, but there is a surprisingly large number of obstacles to release it on that platform as well.

Ah, in that case we would recommend trying to open it in a different browser (assuming it is trying to open it in your default one right now). Looks good on our end at the moment, but we are of course monitoring since it just came out.
Does this test server feature the optimization changes you guys have said you would bring?
Hey, it might have some but it is unlikely to have all of the main changes from the full update releasing later this month. Usually the test build has a cherry picking of features that we are specifically looking for feedback or testing on, but there are some things that are just automatically going to be there as well because they are already configured.
