Thank you for playing Craftopia. This is the development status report on Craftopia's Seamless World Update!

▼ Current Development Status
• Development Status of Map
The terrain of Seamless World Update is almost finished! The world will have 6 biomes at the time of its release!

Some of you might think that 6 biomes are fairly small to play with; however, the size of the map is about 20 times bigger than the current version of Craftopia's. And, its size will be bigger and bigger since we're planning to expand it through the updates!

Now we have a foundation of the terrain, and we're working on the details and improving its quality to enhance playability and player's experiences.

Merry Christmas.

When you have to rely on a possible, not yet to delivered, update...to bring players back, thats a big problem.

The truth is the game is practically dead, even the steamdb player tracking stats have been terribly low. Still a fun game however

Again, not dead.

There’s an... Read more

Originally posted by Rufus: I nearly bought this in the sale but I don't do multi player and I saw the devs own description of the game ("Craftopia is the brand new multiplayer open-world survival action game.) with the descriptions emphasis on multi player it reminded me of another early access game a few years back (can't remember the name of it) where I was enjoying the single player and some way into it when they apologised and ditched the single player section of the game altogether. I was not the only person angered by this.
I don't want to have that happen to me again so I guess I'll wait until it's out of EA and if I'm still as enthusiastic about it then I'll buy it.

So does anyone have any idea if there is a commitment to keeping the single player option. I wouldn't normally be concerned but with the game description describing it as Multi with no mention of single player it left doubt in my mind.

On the part of the developers little communication and work on the side on other games that are not ready. Many bugs that exist for months are ignored by the developer. Any communication is ignored.

Nope. Not even close to “dead”.

Originally posted by MikuruX: Instead of an MMO, since they already allow us to make servers or game sessions with other players, why not give us the tools to make a dedicated server for a certain amount of players outside of just 4 players. Admins of the server can set the rules as to how things operate on the server so that resources on the server don't parish permanently, mob behavior (like spawn times, etc.), & possibly custom quests.

Of course, something like this would more than likely have to wait till after the seamless world update comes. Just a thought & dream, I suppose.

You can already make dedicated servers with expanded player limits.
You have access to the dedicated server files in your Steam "t... Read more

• Improving the Combat Experiences
As we stated in the announcements before, we've worked on "Improvement on combat and enemies' AI" in November.

"Goblin", the enemy that you have faced again and again in Craftopia.
We redefined them from scratch, along with the changes to the combat system, to provide you with better playing experiences!

Goblins will inspect us to decide whether they will attack.
Don't underestimate them; they will get closer little by little to attack at unexpected moments, surround you with the tremendous amount of Goblins, light torches at night, or use those torches to set you on fire...

70+ comments in a thread locked hours ago is enough of this for a while. There’s nothing more to be gained other than baseless accusations and arguing with strangers on Steam forums.
