It's worth noting that RP and mechanics aren't mutually exclusive. Many of the mechanics added over the course of CK2's lifespan were added with the intent of deepening the RP experience, after all.

If you're experiencing crashing issues, then please post a thread on our official bug report board[forum.paradoxplaza.com], including error logs if possible. The more information you can provide about the gamestate when this happens, the faster we can track down what's causing it and push a fix for it.
