Thanks for looking into it. We probably spent over an hour trying to figure out what was going on. I wish I had thought to take vids to capture the issue. If need be, we could try to reproduce it to see if it's a persistent problem.

Some more helpful info:

  1. Here is close to my original build in which I was producing part damage around 12% less than my partner. NOTE: The cell slotting is NOT the actual one I probably was using, but the perks/armor/weapon/lantern/omni IS correct. Also note that this original build had +3 Cascade, but I eventually changed it to +3 Zeal and still had the same problem of less damage.
  2. Here is the EXACT build (including cell slotting) in which we both were hitting close to the same amount.

Just tried this out. I swapped between these two builds and am getting the same damage output on swing and throw. Any other details you could possibly think of here? Not sure if there's some Slayer Path route at play here.

It's technically a Dire.

We've put in work to make some unique attacks and improve its visuals. It will also have its own set of armour and weapons :)

Yup, we just launched a fix. Should be good now!

I'm seeing this request pop up a lot since we introduced Omnicells. I've passed it on to the devs :)

Thanks for the heads up! We're looking into it!

Thanks for the report. We'll investigate to see if we can reproduce this internally.

Like Lanterns, Omnicells are crafted. If you had Iceborne or Discipline Cells you were just given the corresponding Omnicells when the feature launched.

For Bastion (and future Omnicells), you must first unlock the recipe on the Slayer's Path, then go to the Middleman to craft the Omnicell

I appreciate the work you did, sir.

In my opinion, emojis aren't used often (are least not in the parties I'm in) but I would appreciate more armour. I would, gladly, pay for it. Do you know if we have some in the works?

Oh yes, we got lots of armour in the works. We've been trying to balance upcoming armour sets so there's a nice variety of chunkiness and sleekness. We adjusted some existing drask armour so it matches the new thunderdeep design better, but other than that everything else will be fresh designs. I've been looking at samurai armour lately so you might catch some hints of samurai influences in the next set.

I have previously owned Iceborne and have received the Omnicell equivalent but somehow I am getting it. Weird.

Hey! We did a hotfix yesterday so you shouldn't be getting Iceborne cells from cores any longer. For the ones you have remaining, you should be able to see them with the Middleman. You can dust them and combine them with other cells to get a random cell. I hope this is helpful!

Looking into this now! It looks like the bot that collected our replies keeled over and died.

The moral of the story is if you discover a new behemoth and try to get money for it you will be rewarded with torture until the information is handed over. Well I guess don’t be discovering any behemoths and a letting others know you have the info without sharing freely. All this for a drask that used to exist that’s being polished up and made new to reintroduce it back to the game.

Well... when you say it like that...

I'm glad you did, because it is very easy to get lost down the rabbit hole of blaming devs for studio priorities. I have no love for emojis whatsoever. Ultimately, speaking for myself, I wish that the studio had never had you work on emoji packs and had instead been doing concept work for more and more behemoths because that is what we enjoy: new behemoths and fun gameplay.

My answer to that is in the same vein - I can draw a million different behemoths but at the end of the day, we can still only produce x behemoths in x amount of time. Whenever there is a concern that a 3D artist might not have enough work to do, I hop on concepts to unblock them. Emojis aren't as high priority as a behemoth, but when the rest of the team is working away on something anyways, that's when I hop on lower priority tasks.

I've seen the schedule, and it's absolutely crazy how our producers/PMs/managers are able to balance out all the tasks and people!
