This was a really early inspirational piece we used to help get the team excited. One of the first things I do when ever I've lead games is make a good strong start screen with good music. It sets the tone for everything else you do.
Miss that old chonk-y drask. Stared at that start screen for like three years. Then we had the airship screen which never really worked exactly how we wanted it to. Now we're moving back to the original style with a strong motion graphic tied to music.
Expect to see more, newer screens here in the future!
I mean, one good one would be Partners and Mods. Partners are likely going to rarely use it because they have their own flares, but it'd be a nice gesture. I'd like to see it be a founder thing too, maybe to replace the forum badge? But then you still run into the same problem.
After all, if you have kids as your founders or mods, seems like a whoopsie on your part :P
I meant another Flare of similar or different origin that is less phallic. ;)
also happy to hear suggestions on Founder / mod / translators / etc getting more recognition tools that feel special.
So is there any way I could suggest the icon for the other consoles be changed a little? I play on Xbox and I find it hard to differentiate whether the other players are on pc or PS4. My problem might be an isolated case though because I have a pretty garbage tv and maybe I’m just blind lol

I don't want this to come as a shock or surprise, Loadouts will not be in 0.9.0. They were not in a state that we were ready to release, the bugs and conflicts would only cause frustration.

Naw that's entirely self imposed. It's super off brand and potentially something parents may be unhappy with their kids having. So I decided entirely unilaterally (trust me folks here want to give it to y'all) to keep it to Lobsters only.

This is pretty close. There are trademark laws around what logos you can show. I also couldn't put an EA logo in our game without permission. Sony hasn't given us permission to use their marks outside of PC and PS4, and the same for Microsoft respectively.
Anecdotally, I did get permission to put Dickbutt in the game. So I did.
