Thank you for letting us know. We added it to the known issues and a fix is in the works.

It would be good to know if you cooked/ate them one after the other, or if you ate them straight in a row.

There are a couple of things to unpack here, it does not work as you describe it.

Primarily, there is a difference between the energy that the character has and the volume of the stomach that is filled. As it is in reality, food first fills your stomach, then it gets converted into energy.

The 20,000 you mention was the maximum energy in the past updates (this was lowered with 1.10, as you see in the changelog "Lowered the maximum energy buffer of the player"). But it does not mean that you can eat until this is filled, there is a separate value for stomach capacity. So to have a precise examples, two fried cow steaks eaten right after another should be able to fill your stomach, or one piece of lard, but ...

Bohemia Interactive is excited to announce that Game Update 1.10 has arrived on all platforms! There are tons of substantial changes to this update, including the long-awaited return of the M3S truck. Along with a drivable variant, we’ve also added brand new static variants for partial spawning. On top of that, all vehicles now offer increased engine durability during collisions with the environment, as well as the option to repair the vehicle’s chassis with epoxy putty and the engine itself with a pipe wrench (unless your engine happens to be ruined). We also added player damage when jumping out of a car.

New shelters have been added! They come in three variants (stick, tarp, leather) and offer basic storage capacity, as well as protection from the rain. Speaking of the elements, cold mornings and warm afternoons are mo... Read more

In addition to our previous announcement on DayZ on the next-gen, we would like to add a couple more points for clear understanding:

Owners of a physical copy of DayZ won't be able to use their disc on a console that doesn't have a disc drive/reader.

Players on the Xbox Series will play on the same servers as users on the Xbox One do.

Players on the PlayStation 5 will play on the same servers as users on the PlayStation 4 do.

When it comes to performance, we are still conducting some internal testing, as the results can vary depending on the environment, as well as the player count, base building objects or loot in proximity, or the server performance. However, the first results clearly indicate improvements in general performance (e.g., more steady framerate), in most of the basic scenarios (e.g., roaming a non-crowded area).
