They have a mousepad for the Glacial Strata one so I'm curious if some random person sold them your art, or if it was uploaded by GSG. If it's the latter, could you do it for RZ? Or is the former and GSG doesn't care that much?

Sorry for the thread necro. I just want the nice mousepad!

I think we submitted our own stuff too back then. We also accepted reedits or reworks of our artwork, but I don't think this falls under that, so if it's not attributed to anyone, we put it there ourselves.

Is this a permanent change? I was happy that a lot of games were moving away from this option buried in the system menu, it’s incredibly clunky and unintuitive.

I remember Demons souls annoyed me with it when I first got the PS5.

It was not a conscious change. It was changed because we updated the engine. I believe we plan to make it work from within the game again.

I'll just jump in here and comment on this.

Sure, from the outside it looks simple, but be aware that a lot more stuff happens behind the scenes than you might realize.

While I do not know all the details, and the details I know I can't really talk about, consider that DRG launched into PlayStation Plus at the end of the PS4 lifecycle and at the beginning of the PS5 lifecycle. It takes a lot of time to set up a PlayStation Plus deal, as it has to carry a lot of value for both us and PlayStation. I can't really see a scenario where PlayStation Plus would have happened without a PS5 version, all things considered. We didn't really "take the time" to do it, it was the only thing that made sense in that context.
As we are a small team, we also have to prioritize what we do, so our platform team has been 100% focused on that. We've hired more people to work on it, and we've also increased our QA by a lot since I started at GSG 4 years ago. The QA part is important b...

So disappointed in the dev team..i tried to support this game the best i could by buying dlc packs…making posts on xbox reddit to advertise the game my own way…but no more.

I will no longer purchase anything for this game until the devs give xbox players a next gen version. This is a complete lack of respect toward their fan base..

I understand how you are feeling, but to just explain it - we couldn't launch on PlayStation without a PS5 version. When we launched on Xbox, Series X didn't exist. We're a small team, and every version of the game we have requires a lot more work since it is a separate version that needs to be built and tested before release. The current Xbox setup is that it's essentially one version that works on all Xbox devices, so while it takes advantage of the extra power in Series S/X. it doesn't have the specific features like 120Hz.

Just got news that I can share this now.

Yup still no 120hz support for Xbox when PlayStation got it months ago. I'm done with this game lmao

That is due to the launch windows. When DRG came out on Xbox, Series X didn't exist. To launch on PlayStation we had to have a separate version, which is why a specific PS5 version exists. Adding an extra version (on top of the existing ones) to test at each update is pretty resource intensive, but we might do it in the future, because we do know that it sucks not having access to it.

THANK YOU, you have no idea how heated I got and then storm to the subreddit to see if anybody else had this issue. I play with mouse and keyboard on PS5 and it is absolutely fantastic.

Damn PlayStation people, you scary.

If you're missing 120Hz Performance Mode on PS5, here's a fix to get it back. Make sure the game is closed. Go to "Settings-> Saved Data and Game/App Settings-> Game Presets-> Performance mode or Resolution Mode" and set that to performance mode. 120Hz should now be available.

We think this is a bug due to the engine upgrade we did. It's not intentional.
