A recently discovered issue impacting Claims recovery after a disruption can require a full restart of Destiny 2 services: (Cont'd)

Fixing Claims issues is a top priority and must be done carefully to avoid creating new issues or more instability. This will be an ongoing priority over the next two Seasons.

Our Claims service is responsible for routing a huge amount of info to other services, including every kill, orb, and unit of Glimmer in the game.

Unexpected disruptions to Claims in the live game can occur as one of the causes behind Weasel, Baboon, or other error codes.

We’ve built a roadmap with key milestones at Season 21’s mid-season update and the launches of Seasons 22 and 23, alongside work that’s already ongoing.
