Looping back to this - turns out indeed that this is just an old test item that never ended up getting used. We'll pull it out the next time we release - it'll be a couple of weeks, but it should disappear by the end of the month!

Cozmo is looking into it as we speak. Cammy said donโ€™t worry about it, they find it hilarious, but Bungie is still going to investigate.

We investigated it. Found there was a bug where this title was requiring Forsaken. It will be fixed in a future update.

I hope that transmat takes you to jail for this crime that you've done.

Haha GGs. Sorry for bringing you down. I was working on Lunas and running double Hand Cannon. :)

Yeah, go for it! Gives us a good place to relay info for future reference!

/u/EdgarVerona This might be a classification error?

First I have heard of the item! I can ask around on Monday, but I'm about 80% sure this is just something that never actually became a real feature and was never removed.

He is making a lot of assumptions but if you can clarify to clear up the confusion that would be great.

I'll make sure they checked to see if it was console specific or possibly tied to a framerate issue.

I sent this feedback to the team on Weapon Telemetries. From reading through this thread it looks like the general feeling is either increase the payout from turning them in, or remove them entirely so they don't waste space. Is that a fair assessment?

Yes, we are looking into it.

I call bullshit because this bug affects PS4 as well.

Could you be more specific? What was bullsh*t?
