The first major update in 2022 "The Icarus' Evolution" is already available. The Mecha Customization, Advanced Mining Machine, and Dyson sphere Blueprint... New content is ready for your exploration.

A. You can experience all the new features and contents in this major update with an old savedata.

Q2. What systems are optimized in this major update?
We have completely re-do the Dyson sphere system, especially the performance of the Dyson shell. Besides, AGAIN the size/length of the savedata file has been optimized, so you can find the Dyson sphere related savedata's length are significantly cut after this major update.

Q3. What is Mecha Customization?
It is an in-game system that you can change the appearance of Icarus and allows you to design your own unique Mecha.

It's getting closer and closer to the major update and the Chinese New Year holidays. CentreBrain may also looking forward to the vacation, but it's not time to slack off in catching up on the patch development...!

This time we sneaked out some pictures from the major update version. As we already know, "Mecha customization" is a very important feature in this update, where we can design a unique external armor for Icarus. It is not just about color, but the shape, the armor piece of material, decorations, back to spread the "light wings"... Wow, Icarus is already the light of Dyson sphere universe, but after the update, you engineers will be able to design an exclusive shining light for it.

Hope you all had a merry Christmas! We are happy to announce today that Dyson Sphere Program is going to welcome the 2022 with a major update “The Icarus' Evolution”!



So you already know this patch is most about Icarus! However keep in mind that something big is going on with Dyson sphere system, and the new arrival Advanced Mining Machine and Proliferator.

Here is the very first patch in December. Let's see what's going on in this patch:

Features:
  • Now you can set the color of the Traffic Monitor.
Change:
  • Partially solved the problem of the Conveyor Belt not running at full capacity (modified the upper limit of Sortor's unload pushing mechanism from 48 cargoes to 288 cargoes)
Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the planet atmosphere color was not rendered correctly in Planet View (M) and in the prologue.
  • Fixed the bug that pop-click may appeared when the speaker ends its playing.
  • Fixed the bug that the numbers in the product icon of Mining Machine were displayed incorrectly.

We fixed some bugs that may affect your gaming&concern play experiences. Hope you have a nice weekend with the new function^^

Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the cargo texture of the Traffic Monitor may displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed the bug that the Traffic Monitor in Blueprint Mode may triggered an error report.

Changes:
  • Modified the collision detection logic between the Conveyor Belt and the Trafic Monitor.
  • Modified the some English translation in Traffic Monitor UI.
