The team have spent the last week reviewing and investigating and we're happy to announce that a further update is to be released tomorrow, May 18, in the form of 15.01.

The update will be available following routine server maintenance tomorrow, May 18.

Routine server maintenance downtime for Elite Dangerous Live/4.0 will be EXTENDED in order to accommodate 15.01 until approximately 11:00am BST, when the servers will be back online with the update deployed and available.

Following the re-opening of the Console Profile Transfer Portal yesterday, a number of Commanders reported being unable to proceed with the transfer process and in an unofficially prompted attempt to resolve the issue, deleted their Elite Dangerous 'Legacy' accounts.

We strongly advise that Commanders who experience difficulty in completing the Console Profile Transfer Portal process do NOT delete their Legacy accounts.

The team are aware of an issue and are taking necessary steps to address it.

The Elite Dangerous '4.0/Live' servers (only) are now offline until approximately 11:00AM BST, when they shall return with the update available to you.

We were made aware yesterday evening of early acquisition of the 'Pulse Wave Xeno Scanner' by a number of Commanders, following an unfortunate early release of the module.

The module has since been removed from the markets at which it was found and it has been decided that due to the error, those who have already obtained and equipped the scanner will have it remain for them.

Greetings Commanders.

As you may be aware, we held a rather special competition recently whereby a number of lucky Commanders could earn their chance to be immortalised in the Elite Dangerous Galaxy, with their name forever set on their very own Tourist Beacon.

To enter, Commanders were asked to submit a screenshot of the most interesting unpopulated systems, containing Earth-like worlds for all to admire.
Tricky thing here is that there were so many amazing entries, the guys really did have a wonderful but very heavy task on their hands when attempting to choose the lucky winning lot.

However! They got there in the end and we're now thrilled to share the list of winners, along with a little showcase of their efforts!

Wow. A Friday. I guess we made it!

As part of this 'very real feeling Friday' we're releasing a client side point update* for Elite Dangerous: Odyssey this morning, to address a number of issues the team have been able to tackle, following the release of Update 8 this week.

Elite Dangerous: Odyssey servers will be offline from approximately 11:00 BST (10:00 UCT)
Servers are expected to come back online, with the update available at around 11:15 BST (10:15 UTC - maybe even sooner. Not long anyway).

These are client side fixes, so an update to the game is required.

Horizons only players will not be affected by this downtime.
