Yes and this is the same for every building we have. The calculations are done from before any item is even introduced to the game to make sure that everything is taken into consideration. A term we call balancing as this takes into consideration the power of the building, how common or rare it will be, how hard will it be for a player to get, as well as its footprint and of course the maths formula that each aspect of this creates.

@Pauly7 You are correct, there are laws in place to ensure that consumers are protected against such practices. All companies are well within their rights to lower and increase costs in order to remain in a competitive market however in the event of Sale Items the previous price listed must be clear to see and have remained at that price for a "meaningful length of time" in order to meet lawful requirements. This of course stops price hiking prior to a Sale Event.  

It is a complicated algorithm that takes a lot of things into account. It's effect also has some value if you calculate its benefits. It is quite complicated, and we can't get there, but they also have an intrinsic base value.  

Gaming and Virtual goods are a bit different. This is why all items in the game have an intrinsic value, this allows us to prove the worth of anything in the game. This then allows us to make various offers on items, like the one you cite.

The big argument against a global Chat imo is that it would require in-game moderation.
Sadly, any community the size of an Elvenar world has a few individuals who delight in offending. The FS chat can be effectively moderated by the AM and the officers (not to mention the members themselves), a global chat would need someone with the authority and power to provide consequences to the few that would break the rules.  

@DeputyDoggz thank you for putting these ideas forward! Both are excellent and I will take them forward to the Team for you. I very much like the second idea as well. I know I would be happy to help my FS if ever I had some spare Time Instants and they needed a hand! As always, these things take time so whilst I cannot give an immediate answer, they will be considered, and I will get back to you once I have one

I agree Timneh, hence we only use this for Forge of Empires as thats a different ball game to Elvenar with PVP needing pings sto get playerrs on the board.  

Linking forum accounts to game accounts

Hi @DunkelSaturn that really isn't right is it. I didn't even think it was possible to show Negative Figures in the Diamond Screen. I'm going to take this forward with the Team immediately as this is something that looks to be consistently happening. Please allow me to discuss this with them, and we'll try to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Yeah or sure, I know we use Whatsapp on Forge as a very good work around for the Guild/s. Knowing people react well to a mobile ping.
Yes we get tickets or players who have deleted threads and cannot get back in and that has been flagged up even in the last week.  

My thoughts were in my Fellowship we use multiple messaging windows with important news and directions and respond to these via chat to not then bury them. So thats where I was coming from with my comment. That way nothing gets buried in the messages and get deleted once no longer needed. I am aware a lot of Fellowships run it this way.  

Hence we have Chat for people to discuss items and the Message System for important announcements for the fellowships.

So this says that perhaps your Fellowship is not using these in the intended way.

We can confirm that we would not permit players access to the News system, for many reasons not least that this is a server wide notification system, not designed to be geared to a single Fellowship.  

We do have emojis in the Forum, however the reason we do not permit these in the game is there are too many versions to programme in as each manufacturer uses a different interface, the programming would be quite vast.
