Your script isnt correct

force_install_dir needs to be at the beginning for a long time already
add also the -validate check

If after you still dont get the update reset SteamCMD Cache by either complete reinstalling steamCMD or delete all the cache folders from the install

Hello Galactic Survivalists!
First of all, we would like to apologize for the fact that some of the contents of the update described earlier this year are still pending. We are working hard on the final adjustments.

However, in order not to delay some necessary bug fixes and technical upgrades any longer, we have packed these and all previously completed content together and put together a small server scenario creativity package for you with version 1.11.7, which is now available.

It includes numerous new game objects for Survival and Creative mode (consoles, tables, large trees and various types of lamps for outdoor and indoor areas) as well as an improvement to the gravity generators, which makes it easier for you to create a walkable gravity ring, for example.

On the big topic of multiplayer, improvements have been made to how 'SharedData', i.e. the content of custom scenarios that are not included in the game installation by default, are handled. In ... Read more

Next week we will release v1.11.7 what will fix issues. And soon there is an update for the DLC Scenario planned aswell what will fix numerous issues

We have been focusing on the DLC the past patches to fix the issues. But every update contained content and fixes for the base game aswell and we continue for the base game in the future aswell

The Controller has its issues, its not only in the tutorial its everywhere.
Best is if you want to use a controller that you disable our software and install some 3rd party software and set the mapping up

That's great and all, but many people I know - myself included - have had issues with others just being unable to join co-op saves (and sometimes just in general) for years.
If it works for us, and no one provides us repro steps then not much that we can do.

Only games that are started as CooP has such a file
Without seeing your logs files and some repro steps I cant help more

We have our own rules on our channels, this includes our Steam Page and we do not allow it
In the PDA is also on the lines of not being allowed but we are oke with it there

As of the issues, there workaround for the time being

Difficulty Settings > Start with default settings. Exit and change it from the Saves Menu
Issues when not owning the DLC > Copy the scenario to the local directory

Both issues do not stop you from playing
