Hey, hi. I've been experiencing this for a very long time (since camp slots) and know the cause. I submitted a ticket about it months ago.
When building your camp, certain obstacles (like rocks or trees) will disappear in favor of your built structures. Since the introduction of camp slots, this has been bugged. The objects disappear the first time, but never again. Next time you load into a game, your camp will be unplacable and you have to move it. There used to be a workaround of swapping between camps, but that stopped working in the same hotfix that patched the spawn bug.
Thanks for the info on that and the crops! We'll get this investigated once more.

When you say the event never started, was Grahm there at all, or was he missing?

On PS5 and no Grahm.
He was there for the first public event, disappeared shortly after it ended, and has not returned since. Server hopped a few times and only found Chally wandering about.
However, he is showing up on my private server every time I switch over.
Paging u/ladydevann and u/LoneVaultWanderer for visibility as similar posts are starting to pile up.

I play on PS4/5 and Xbox s. I can dm you my experience but not video proof unfortunately (still learning how to crop Xbox video)
Have only experienced glitch on Xbox side
Also have several Xbox friends experience it. No issues in our PC members or psn
