When you say you can't access the friends tab, what do you mean specifically? Are you unable to click it? Or does everyone show as offline?

Hey there, can you give me some more information on this? Is your friend on PC using any mods, and did this persist when he logged out and back in?

We recently announced that we would need to delay the end of Fallout 76 Season 5 and the start of Season 6 due to an issue affecting purchased rank-ups. However, after further investigation, we have found that we can safely move forward with starting Season 6 today, September 8, as scheduled.

We’ve been delving deep into the bug mentioned above, and have since found that it will not prevent any players from receiving the rewards they earned through rank-ups. While everyone will have their correct rewards from Season 5, we do still need to address the underlying issue that affects purchasing rank-ups with Atoms. As a result, we are going to disable rank-up purchases during the start of Season 6 until we can resolve the bug and release a hotfix. We will let you know as soon as we plan to re-enable rank purchases. In the meantime, all players can still rank up and claim Season 6 rewards normally by completing in-game Challenges to earn S.C.O.R...

Hello all,

We've discovered an issue affecting Season 5 rank-ups, where players in some cases may be unable to claim the rewards for ranks they've purchased using Atoms. This does not affect rank-ups achieved by earning S.C.O.R.E., but we are working hard to get this fixed up as soon as possible so that all players can enjoy the rewards they've earned.

As a result, we're currently planning to extend Season 5 by two weeks. During the first week, rank-up purchases using Atoms will be disabled while we work to resolve the underlying issue, and you will still be able to continue to ranking-up by earning S.C.O.R.E. During the second week, we will release our fix and re-enable rank-up purchases so that everyone has plenty of time to claim any rewards they unlocked during this two week period.

We know that many players in the community are excited to kick off Season 6, and we are too. However, we want to make sure all players can access thei...

Hey there, this is no Official Fallout 76 specific discord server. There is the Bethesda Studios discord that we created a few months ago that has sections for Fallout 76 in it (I see in another comment on here someone linked it for you.). There is a fan-made and ran Fallout 76 server that we do not moderate in, I think that may be the one you are referring to!

Yup we are aware of this one. In the meantime, fast travel somewhere to be able to rank up again. Sorry for the inconvenience mate.

Hi there! Some clarity on this: - You will earn 6 perk coins per perk card in Nuclear Winter you own. That is the amount of perk cards in your inventory you are holding onto. You will get one perk coin per Overseer Ticket. So to get the most coins back, you'll want to unlock those perk cards with your Overseer tickets. You get the same amount of coins regardless if it is an animated perk card, or non animated one.

Also for clarity, I saw some confusion on the max number of 600 coins. Some players who have not logged into Nuclear Winter for a long time may still have duplicate cards that were not turned into Overseer tickets.

Very. It's my main build and shreds, both mobs and boss enemies. My suggestion: get a gatling gun as your main weapon and lean into VATS - you'll thank me later. Then you can have a 50 cal, gatling plasma, gauss minigun etc as your second weapon for boss enemies.
