Some people in my clan say they can see me online, others say they cannot.

Thank you! I'll poke around about this.

Hi, sorry to hear some of you are crashing so much after yesterday's hotfix! We're actively looking into this and we'd like to hotfix asap so that you can get back in-game, but we need a little more information.

  • Can you please tell me what CPU and graphics card you're currently running?
  • Also, what platform are you using to log into the game: Bethesda.net, Steam, or Xbox Game Pass for PC?

Thank you!

Tagging some folks who mentioned running into this crash a lot: /u/Dannyravenhall /u/Benitargh /u/belgarionofriva

Hi again, as an update, we've received reports that updating drivers may help resolve this issue. If you're encountering this PC crash repeatedly, can you please ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your CPU and GPU and let me know if that helps?

Thanks!

Thank you, this is very helpful. Hopefully others can resolve this as well by updating their drivers.

Hi! Thanks for the report. We've been actively investigating a crash that some PC players have been running into repeatedly since we released the hotfix on Tuesday. We believe this may be related to certain AMD CPUs.

A couple of folks have mentioned that updating their drivers has resolved the issue. If you're experiencing repeated crashing on PC, can you please ensure you're running the latest drivers for both your CPU and GPU to see if that helps?

Thank you!

Hey there! The team is working on a fix for this one.

I'll ask around and see if this is intended or a bug!

Thanks for taking the time to reply to us. It means a lot to get any replies and updates about this. It has been mostly ignored in the past. We AMD users just want to play the game the way it should look. If the team can shed any light on this if a fix is on the way, that would be great. 5 months since first reported is a lot for a major bug like this imo. Hopefully that is understandable.

Can you DM me your account info? I just need your bethesda.net username. The next step in their investigations is to pull some account information from users experiencing this.

Hey there so I finally got an answer on this. Unfortunately, you may need to move your CAMP. It's possible for you to load into a server that's been nuked, as the game won't check if your camp is in a nuked zone when looking for servers.

Hi! Ah, so that's why my Enclave armor is feeling a bit drafty!

We discussed this today and we're going to work on a fix. Thanks for the reports!

I'm running the game from the Bethesda Launcher. I also completed the troubleshooting steps advised but it made no changes to the CTD issues

Thanks very much!
