There's a Black Mage in the mega thread that's looking for a group :) Just remember please that you need to sign up with 8 people present at the booth! Can't sign up for friends.

They only thing you have to keep in mind is that you indeed need 8 people to register. Also you need to register on the same day.

This is indeed correct, but please note that all 8 people are required to be at the booth and sign with their names. So no signing up for friends :)

Are the huge stage and the battle booth in seperate locations?

The two FFXIV booths are facing each other. Imagine it like this:

X O Y

X is the Battle Challenge booth, where you can get "I BEAT THORDAN" and "I BEAT SEPHIROT" shirts.

O is the Eorzea Grill, a food stall

Y is the Battle Arena with the stage, the battle roulette and the Feast

Hope that makes it a bit more clear :)

They've been there for about 5 hours already :) Quite busy here given that it's only trade visitor day today. If you're coming to gamescom, make sure to visit us in Hall 9, impossible to miss!

I do have exactly one picture of a colleague trying them on, and I think I would not survive posting them. They're fun though ;)

The game is made with international players in mind. Higher ping situations are handled well - you might just have to learn to move a bit quicker for ground effects and the likes, or to time your abilities, but in most cases, that should be negligible.

As long as you have an account, you can create characters on the North American, European and Japanese data centers (as long as the world you chose is open for new characters). So yes - not only can you play with people from all around the world, but also across all platforms (PC, Mac, PS3, PS4) :)

That being said, I do not think we sell the game in Malaysia right now (I could be wrong). So there may be challenges I can't foresee right now.

We are indeed in the final steps of preparation for gamescom - I'm actually writing this from my tech corner on the battle challenge booth, while everyone in the hall is still busy building things :) Looking forward to seeing lots of you on the booth and moderating your challenges!

Should you continue to experience issues, you can contact our customer support and they'll try to troubleshoot the issue with you. Chances are that it's not something they can fix, but worth a try!

Telephone and Chat support (during business hours) should be the fastest solution.

Ty for the advice, do you know how I would create a new service account on my SE account for ffxiv? I think I'm going to continue playing my first account on mac/ps3 and my second on ps4. Was wanting to have a new character anyways so it doesn't bother me. If I were to make a new service account with my new PSN account would that mean the download will automatically be linked to my SE? Because it was a digital download the code/key/license was combined with it and therefore I don't know it.

I'm sorry, I'm not 100% sure from the top of my head and as it's past business hours in Europe right now I can't check on this. With gamescom coming up next week I probably won't be able to answer this - could I ask you to get in touch with our customer support to get a definitive answer to this?

Hones question. How well do you think earth would do against just a single primal?

That's a perfect question to ask Koji Fox :)

For me, there are too many things I do not know. For instance: Primals are beings made of aether. Would their strength depend on the flow of aether on Earth, then? Would they be impervious to conventional weapons? ... Maybe I should send in some questions for the next lore discussion as well!

Directly towards it, right?

If you are, at that point in time, anywhere on Hydaelyn, and either blessed with the echo, commanding a well-sized army or in possession of a large amount of working Allaghan technology, go for it!

However, while you reside on Earth, I feel that a tactical retreat may be the better choice.

If I were to make a new account and connect it to my new PSN would SE mind if they found out I had another account? Is it like a violation of the TOS to have more than one account or anything? Probs a stupid question, not sure. True though, just paid for the subscription, lol this isn't going well :/ I'll get there in the end though I'm sure, thank you.

Just to confirm, owning two accounts is perfectly fine. Just remember that you will lose all progress you have made - it will be a truly new account.

If you are logged in on your "old" PSN Account that was originally linked, and you bought FFXIV on it or registered it to it, you should see the game available for download in your PlayStation Store library. Worth a check! If you installed the game from a physical medium (BluRay retail version of the game), try reinstalling it from that while having that account active.

I'm scared.

I would strongly suggest to not go anywhere near a casino, unless you are signed as a stage act. I hear that casino security is not taking lightly to such things.

I would also remove all of the more creepy cards from the deck, just in case, but that's just me.
