My character is choppy and when in fighting stance it's hard to follow along because of it.

I haven't touched any of the game's settings, the only change I made was updating my Nvidia graphics drivers, but reverting back didn't fix the problem.

Changing graphics quality, rendering, V-sync, refresh rate, motion blur etc. did nothing. Even reinstalling the game had no effect.

(It feels like) Everything else in the game is smooth apart from my character, almost like it's skipping frames or rendering poorly.

Any help appreciated.

Hey @spodostaffo

I'm sorry to hear you've started having an issue that is affecting your games performance. Would you be able to record a video clip showing what is happening please and upload it somewhere like YouTube and provide a link to view it?

Can you also let us know if this is happening with every hero, every game?

Thanks for providing those videos for us, @SpodoStaffo! I can see what you mean about the choppiness.

I understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, such as reverting to a previous driver version and reinstalling the game. Would you be able to try the other steps provided on this basic PC troubleshooting article as well? These steps help to tackle a number of common causes behind technical issues in-game, such as stuttering, and may help to alleviate the issue.

Once you've been able to try these steps, please don't hesitate to share an update on whether this has helped to resolve the stuttering at all.

Thanks! 😊

Hey @spodostaffo,

Thank you for taking the time to update us, sorry to hear that those troubleshooting steps didn't help.

To ensure that no background application is having an effect, would it be possible to perform a clean boot and then launch the game without other 3rd party applications?

Many thanks.

@spodostaffo Hey!

Happy to hear the clean boot did the trick for you.

Thanks for returning to let us know what resolved the issue.

Please be in touch, should you have any further questions for us. 🙂
