Anyone know how to fix this. Ive tried multiple ways to try and get it to run and tried with 3 different web browsers also and non of the things Ive done worked

I'm sorry to see you are both experiencing this.

At what point are you both getting this error? (Is it after installation, before, upon launch, after launch, during linking?)
Could you both set up cases on our support site and upload screenshots showing the error in question, and your Epic Library.

Once you have done this, can you please let us know your case number so we can look deeper into this.

Hey folks,

If you are getting this particular error, it is related to the country on your account not matching the account you got the game on.

I would advise checking your country set on both Epic and Uplay are matched, if they are not, please contact our support team via our website and change the country to match your Epic account.

If you have previously contacted us via a support case for this issue, would you mind letting me know your case reference number, so that I may take a look into this further with you?

Additionally, can you confirm that both countries match, and that you currently reside / are located in the country in question on both accounts? Others in this thread for instance mentioned being registered to one country on both but living in another, or else being on holiday when trying to activate their games or link their accounts, which likely caused the issue for them. To fully investigate, I'll therefore need this information from you

Since the country is the same on both accounts, please add images of the following to your support case -

-the game on the Epic games library
-the country setting on the Epic account.

That will give our team everything they need to investigate further.

I am sorry to hear that this error code persists for some of you, but very glad to hear that several workarounds - such as that provided by Tsimdschdern - have allowed you to link your games to your Ubisoft Account! Here is that workaround again, for ease of access:

Hey JustSkillss,

Sorry to hear about your issue with activating your game.

Does your friend use a VPN? If they were, you would need to change your country settings on your Ubisoft Account and on the Epic side to match whatever country your friend had set their VPN to.

Hey JeParleRomano, thanks for replying to the thread.

I've checked the account you're posting from and can't see a copy of For Honor on it - as such, as a first question, have you checked that you are trying to run and play the game from the correct Ubisoft Account? If you're logged into the correct account in Uplay PC and can see the linked game in your library, can you please run through our connectivity troubleshooting to rule out any network issues as well?

Should you still encounter the PI-UBI-01 error after completing all of the steps above, please refer to my previous post in this thread and send us the requested information in a support case or via a Live Chat.
