There isn't. You'll need an internet connection in order to play any of For Honor's game modes.

Can I ask for a bit of context here? I'm not sure I see the correlation between players thinking they're good for playing Gryphon.

Based off my own interpretation, I'm gonna assume you're implying that it takes no skill to be effective as him? If that's the case, what aspects about Gryphon do you feel are "too easy"?
