  • Fixed an issue where a player received an error message in GvG that they were within the 96 hour cooldown period.
  • Fixed an issue where high credit costs were obscured on Asterid exploration,
  • Fixed an issue where the last message deleted would change the date order in the message center.
  • Fixed an issue where pagination would break in multiple pages of Guild messages.
  • Fixed an issue where receiving a message whilst editing a message would result in a new message posted.

Dear Kings and Queens!

Forge of Empires has developed a lot during the last couple of years and even in the last months, as we have added more and more features to the game. To not overwhelm especially new players with all these options that the game has to offer and also to give more guidance for new players, we have decided to adjust the game entry.

A lot of features have become available rights after the tutorial has been completed, like the Social Bar or the Goods Market.

Therefore we have applied the following changes:
  • The Friends Tavern will no longer be unlocked with the Technology Construction, but with Brewing instead.
  • The Social Bar and Global Rankings will no longer be unlocked after the Tutorial but with the Technology Thatched Houses.

  • Fixed an issue where the Colony credits icon could obscure the amount needed for exploration.
  • Fixed an issue where players were receiving a warning message in GvG that they could not participate.

  • Fixed an issue in some language versions of the game where the level was hidden in the display due to the length of the name.

Hello Queens and Kings,

Please find below for reference the changelog for 1.187

Bugfixes
  • Deleting a guild conversation while another player was interacting with it (reading, marking, etc) would result in an error.
  • Sometimes the social bar would show that a tavern icon is available to click, although the tavern not always had a free spot to sit in.
  • Setting the browser zoom to 90% or below while playing the 4th difficulty of Guild Expedition, would cut off the Archway graphics in the map.
  • Voyager V1's plunder goods animation were not being displayed upon plundering a neighbor.
Improvements
  • The Town Hall fireworks and banner animations have been improved. This will only appear when celebrating a new era.

  • Fixed an issue with graphics on Level 4 Expeditions when the browser zoom was set to below 100%
  • Fixed an issue where the Settlement playthroughs were displayed at the highest reward level rather than the actual number if you had completed more.
  • Fixed an issue where new purchase packages were not displayed on reaching a new Era.

I've just added this line to the announcement:

"Blueprints can be obtained via an early game quest line, or for later era players by contribution."

I haven't any other information I can give you at this time.

  • Fixed an issue where you were offered the instant construct option after selecting this option already.
  • Fixed an issue where the social bar was not updating the Tavern status.
  • Fixed an issue where the Tavern context menu did not appear inside your own Tavern.
  • Fixed an issue where Egyptian military buildings were not updating correctly.
