  • The Halloween Event used some Loading Screen hints from last year, talking about Sets. They have been removed.
  • The position of the current Halloween Prize and Grand Prize was swapped in the main event window. It is now the same as on mobile.
  • In the Guild Championship, the flames for reaching more than 100% did not appear. They are now back!
  • Finishing all quests for a settlement did display, that you solved the first X quests, instead of that you solved all X quests. This has been fixed.
  • In the shop, the background image for Forge Plus was wrong. It now displays the correct one.
Beta-App
  • The app would crash when you open the Castle System or Research. This will no longer happen.

  • We did some changes to the Halloween Event.
  • During the tutorial, you were able to open the world map on the campaign map. This is no longer possible.
  • Expired limited buildings were polished for 1 day, instead of the usual 12 hours. This has been adjusted.
  • In the Guild Expeditions, the popup for some encounters was misplaced for higher screen resolutons. This has been fixed.

Halloween Event 2022

Dear Kings and Queens,
With the next update, there will be once again some balancing changes.
Important: These changes once again require a change to your current boards. This means, that they will change after the update. So if you have anything you want to collect, do it before the update!
The changes are:
  • All pumpkins now have a 5% higher chance for the daily special.
  • The Tarot Card Caravans now provides 5 additional goods of the previous age at its highest level.
  • The chance for stickers on the board has been decreased again slightly.
 

Changes to Mobile Diamond Prices

Dear players,

As you probably know, when foreign exchange rates change, Apple updates their own prices. The last time this happened, the App Store prices increased in several countries, and tomorrow, on October 5, 2022, they will increase again.
In order to ensure a fair pricing environment among all of our games platforms, we decided to bring the Google Play prices to the same level as the Apple ones.
We would hereby like to inform you that tomorrow, on October 5, 2022, the prices of Diamonds will be adjusted on Google Play.

Important information for users with iOS 10 and lower

Dear Kings and Queens,

Please read this if you're playing Forge on a mobile device that uses the mentioned iOS version.

Starting from November 9th (and app version 1.243), we will no longer offer app updates for devices that use iOS 10 and lower. No other iOS versions will be affected.

The Forge of Empires app installed on devices with these iOS versions will stop receiving updates, bugfixes, and new features. Players who use these iOS versions will also not be able to download the app from the App Store.

This measure is necessary for retaining the game quality and ensuring smooth experience for all players. We apologize for any inconvenience it might cause.
