Hello Queens and Kings,

This update will combine the changes done for the 1.220 and 1.221 changelogs, respectively.

For the detailed description of the changes, please see the list below:

Bugfixes
  • In the Event Hub, after clicking on the Winter Event page, it sometimes was not possible to click on the Halloween Event page. This has been fixed, and you can view the Winter Event page without any difficulties!
  • There was a display issue, that occurred after trying to aid someone that was no longer available to be aided (i.e. they were no longer guild members), causing the coin symbol to appear in the wrong place. This display issue is fixed and no longer appears.
  • In some rare cases, it was possible for players to trade away their last 2 blueprints (in 2:1 trading). This h...

Hello Kings and Queens,

The year has almost come to an end! It was an eventful year, not only in the world, but also in Forge of Empires! We are very proud of what we delivered, and what you—the players—made possible. That is why we have decided to give an overview of everything that happened in 2021!

Note: All features mentioned here in the months are based on the live release. Since Beta is ahead in development, the features mostly came out 1-2 months earlier than noted here.

January: The year began with the update to Version 1.195. This update included changes from 2 versions, because our developers had some time off during the Holiday time in 2020. Dear Kings and Queens,

Following our analysis, as well as your feedback, we have decided to postpone Guild Perks. That means that the current cycle (that runs until December 29th), will be the last one until a later date (following changes to the feature).

This decision was reached, due in large part to your wishes as a community, and in recognition that the feature needs some necessary changes to reach its full potential.

While the feature will not be available in the short-term (after December 28th), it is still very much in our plans for 2022. Indeed, the feature still has a solid foundation, and we look forward to building on that and providing you with an updated version in the coming year.

  • The furthest zoom level did not work, after you visited your settlement. It now works as intended again
  • Sending your ship (from arctic harbor or ocean terminal) multiple times in one session would generate an error. We fixed this issue now
