This has me worried magyst. That’s a very vague response, and IF there is new content coming will this be new content for your dedicated players or will it be more recycled events?

It's definitely hard to give concrete information on releases. If I told you "Yep! This is 100% launching in 13.20" and then we had to delay for any unforeseen reason, like bugs, crashing, features issues, etc. it puts us in a very tough spot. We experienced this exact thing with mentioning any Dev update video or revealing features early.

Thank you for the positive thread u/Funbun71! Definitely appreciated and goes a long way.

This has been mentioned several times, but it's extremely hard to give many details as things are still being worked on and anything can change. (Design, critical bugs, etc). We're hoping to have it out this season. As we lock more and more in, we'll share some details. As of this moment, content should start picking up again with 13.20 (not the feature release date).

New season launch in Battle Royale doesn't always line up with new content release in Save the World. Each game mode can undergo larger updates at different times. Historically, BR seasonal launches have been much lighter for Save the World as this content typically launches in the .20 update.

Here's a quote pulled from one of my earlier comments pertaining to the new Season.

The Blockbuster quest wasn't actually supposed to reset. The team is taking a look into why this happened with this mornings update. They are intended to be extended until the 30th, not reset completely. On the positive side... Dungeon quest were also reset which means there are more tickets to farm (if you need them).

Thanks u/ArkhamPancake Going to let the team know this hasn't been resolved.

It’s sad there’s zero communication

We'll share details on the feature as it's closer to release. This is done intentionally. It's extremely hard to communicate about something, even a week in advance, due to the nature of game development and how ideas / features can shift.

Historically, we've put out early communications about something (roadmap, dev video, feature) which creates excitement... which is great! But sets us up in a pretty bad way if things have to shift due to unforeseen circumstances.

When everything is properly locked in, we'll share more information.

I made a comment about this not that long ago. Pulled from ...

 Commanders,

Welcome back to the Homebase Status Report. Let’s start with a couple important housekeeping items....

  • Friendly reminder that Dungeons and the Blockbuster Event has been extended until June 30! Complete the quest, grab the Heroes, and wrap up your Dungeon checklist before they depart.
  • Adventure Tickets are being converted to Spy Llamas in tandem with the new season of Fortnite on June 17. Homebase will do a final conversion of any remaining Adventure Tickets to Pirate Llamas at the end of the Blockbuster event, scheduled for June 30. If you want Pirate Llamas instead of Spy Llamas, spend your tickets now!

And now back to your regularly-scheduled report...

Fortnite Walloper

The Walloper smashes in...

There will be a Homebase Status Report for what's coming this week. Please refer back to the comment above. We're hoping to share more in the near future. Dungeons and Blockbuster will be around until June 30th and then replaced by a new narrative.

To be fair, they did announce that StW would update separately to major BR updates, but I imagine that StW content is still tied to general Fortnite updates, updates which were supposed to come out two months ago but were delayed. We'll get nothing in the first week, but it's usually around the second when stuff gets good.

Hail Commanders,

Downtime for update 13.00 beings tomorrow morning at 2AM ET (06:00 UTC).
