Also, as another workaround, you can bring up the Emote/Quick Chat Wheel to close the map.

We're aware of this issue and are looking into it.

You are not actually getting any benefit from this. The lobby has been locked to 30fps, this is just a visual bug. Any videos you see claiming otherwise are false.
