We've heard recent feedback that it seemed like explosive weapons were dropping too frequently. After doing some investigating, we discovered that drop rates were a little higher than we’d like.

Based on that, we’ve just released a hotfix to reduce the chance of receiving an explosive weapon in chests from 4.13% to 3.08%

Indeed some of these cards are old. It has taken us too long to fix the Ragnarok issue where the crosshair is blocked, however, we do have a speculative fix planned for that issue for Season 8.

I'm seeing some reports in this thread that console players are also experiencing freezes at loading screens. Please provide the following information so we can dig further into this:

• In-game Username

• When this started occurring

First off, great callout. Secondly, the reason it's not currently on the Trello board is that this is actually the currently intended functionality. However, we have heard the feedback that it feels strange to not have the initial piece build immediately.

We're discussing potential options we can do in order to make improvements to this functionality at some point in the future. We'll let you know where we land on this once we've discussed it further. Thanks!

We wanted to drop in and confirm that we're aware of an issue some PC players are experiencing that's causing them to freeze at loading screens.

We're working towards a fix and will provide an update on social channels once we've resolved the issue.

We’ve disabled the ability to view replays while we investigate an issue.

All replays will still be saved during this time and watchable once this feature has been re-enabled.

We've seen some questions regarding lower ping levels (including 0) displayed in the UI as well as the Connection Timeout error being displayed, even while under good network conditions. We wanted to drop by and give a little bit of clarity around what's going on here.

You may have seen the following line in the v7.30 Patch Notes:

• Fixed an issue in the Net Debug UI that would cause it to show a ping value that was too high.

We discovered an issue with our current method of calculating ping that was causing displayed ping values to sometimes be higher than those the player was actually receiving.

This was creating instances where the ping values displayed weren't indicative or representative of what the player was actually experiencing. In v7.30 we began testing a new method of calculating ping, which should display numbers with a more accurate value to the player's conn...

This was unintentional and will be fixed.

This may be caused by a separate issue we're investigating which is causing some PC players to get stuck at loading screens.

We’re investigating issues that players are experiencing when attempting to use Epic Games services. We’re working on a fix and will keep you updated.
