We're aware of and investigating an issue where some Xbox players are experiencing disconnects while in-game and are sent back to the lobby.

We are working towards resolving this and will provide an updated post when we have more information.

The purpose of this board is to provide awareness of top community issues and their status.

Listed on this board will be our highest priority issues that we are working to resolve in the next couple of releases.

This was unintentional. Will be restored to the original two-tone look.

First mention of v7.30. Yay!

With all the content updates, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next one was 7.30.

Just wanted to clarify,

The next update is the v7.20 Content Update, followed by Patch v7.30.

Post

Hey folks,

In the v7.20 Patch Notes we had a line that read:

  • Editing a structure will now begin without waiting for a response from the server. This should cut down on ghost shots before editing and make it a smoother experience.

    • Confirming the edit will still require sending data to the server and be impacted by high ping or poor server performance.

Β

Unfortunately, due to an issue that was preventing players from being able to shoot after jumping from the Battle Bus, we've had to revert that improved functionality. For the time being, editing will now react the same way it did prior to v7.20.

Β

Fear not! All improvements listed above will be re-added to Patch v7.30.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I've been watching their Trello, they actually have a Switch section on there right now, with two (!!!) issues, them being the Ramirez issue "Players load in lobby as the same cosmetic" which is only part of the issue. The bigger issue is they also load in as the same cosmetic in game. I also swear to god skins are changing sometimes, like I'm fighting a Lynx and all of a sudden it's a Summit Striker or something.

The other Switch top issue seems to be related to the voice chat, which, while inconvenient I'm sure, is the least of my worries.

The bigger issues, in my honest opinion:

  • Environment textures load in at the last minute when landing again, this was definitely fixed at some point, but it's back, and it makes it hard to choose a landing spot, because you can't see if loot is on the ground until you basically touch the ground. Both docked (worse) and undocked.

  • Massive, massive frame drops when jumping early and in a crowded s...

Just to clarify that the Trello board is not a list of every issue seen or reported.

This is close to correct. The police car is made the parent of the other cars (they are now children of the parent car). Creating this relationship between various cars allows updates to sections of code/script in the police car to automatically propagate to child cars without need to copy/paste the latest code/script with every update. The benefit of this is it keeps functionality consistent between cars (or any other asset type that uses a parent/child relationship), and if there is an issue or bug with cars, that it only needs to be fixed in one place instead of many.
btw, thanks to OP. There might be potential for minor optimization in the parent script. We'll investigate it.

We have released a hotfix to resolve FPS drops when entering building mode. Players will not be required to update, you will pick it up next time you return to the lobby.
