Hi Adventurers,

We have some issues in version 6.6 we’re going to try to do a hotfix for.

The issues are:

  • On mobile if you “download all assets” from the graphics settings menu in game, the download will freeze.

  • The map flashes red when returning to it, and occasionally appears very dark or black

  • The settings, chat and game speed buttons are off screen and can’t be used inside battles on some tablets and squarer screen/window resolutions.

  • Empty event shops and missing offerings in the Shop on the world map.

We are aware that there are issues with the UI on these screen resolutions on multiple screens, however as the hotfix will be pushed out as soon as possible, it’s better if we fix just the battle screen for now, and then fix the rest of the UI for our planned updates v6.6.5 or v6.7 so we have adequate time to test everything rather than releasing a lot of changes very quickly. We will be doing our best to fix this in 6.6.5 but it may be split across to 6.7 as well.

When we have an ETA on when the hotfix can go live I will update this post.

This is normal, it’s the downloading indicator when your Switch is downloading the art asset you need for the first time.

It’s there, are you playing windowed or on a tablet? We have a known issue where the buttons at the top corners of the screen are getting cut off so you can’t see them on 4:3 screens. This will be fixed in the hotfix for inside the battles.

We’ve added a fix to the hotfix:

  • Empty event shops and missing offerings in the Shop on the world map.

Also, I’ve spoken to the team and we’re hoping to have the hotfix released within the next week.

Hi everyone, just an update as it’s now Friday here:

We’ve finished the hotfix but we’re not going to be able to push it live this week.
It’s now looking like early next week. We had hoped to get it to you all before the weekend but it hasn’t been possible.

We’re very sorry we couldn’t get it to you sooner and thank you so much to everyone for their patience.

The stores perform QA on our builds before approving it to go live. We have our game on 7 stores, so it takes a little time for us to get the go ahead to press the release button.

Basically that means that for client fixes, like this hotfix, there is always a gap between when we’ve finished the work and when the update is released.

If it’s a server fix then we can release it as soon as we’ve finished our testing as it doesn’t involve the stores, but for this hotfix, it’s a client fix.

We’ll be working out what we can do regarding compensation once the issues are fixed. We always wait until after the issue is fixed to sort out comp so we can have the entire picture of how the issue affected the player base and how long the issues went on for.

If you would like a refund, please contact the store you made the purchase through. On our end we can only compensate in game, I don’t have the capability to process monetary transactions as we don’t handle the money from your purchase, the store does.

Hey just jumping in to clarify - this incorrect weapon flash offer was not a part of the hotfix.

The team is currently working on a fix for this issue and I’m awaiting confirmation when this will be released.

@Kold I have helped a couple of players with this issue prior to today, some players saw it resolved after attempting to reinstall more than once - unfortunately, I do not know why this is the case as most others only had to reinstall once before it was fixed.

Also, make sure to clear your phone cache before reinstalling.
