Hello all, I have an update for you! We have found the cause of this issue and are working on a way to revert the change. Our engineers have been investigating, but in addition to Janthir Wilds keeping everyone very busy, the issue with infusion stacking impacts other systems and made investigation more complicated. As we've mentioned in the past, we are always working to improve every aspect of our development processes. In this case, we made a change to help us better test particle effects, and that had an unintended effect on the way infusions behave in the live game. We are working on a fix that will revert the change to infusion stacking and allow us to keep the improved testing functionality. We won't be able to create, test, and ship that change before the August 20 game update, but we do want to get it to you as soon as we can. I'll update you when we have a good idea of when that is--in the meantime, thank you all for your patience while we looked into this.

Hello, Tyrians! We're almost to the launch of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds, and we're hard at work getting things ready for next Tuesday, August 20. I want to share a few updates on Homesteads. In one of our previews earlier this summer, you may have seen armor and weapon stands that could be used as homestead decorations to show off items you've collected in your adventures. We had planned to ship those with the Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds launch next week, but as development progressed, we discovered that they needed a bit more work. We'll be shipping them in upcoming quarterly releases. If you missed the news on our recent livestream, we discovered that a different feature of Homesteads was ready earlier than expected, so we'll be shipping functionality that allows you to gather all node resources from collection boxes when we launch the expansion! Hello everyone! With the launch of Janthir Wilds just around the corner, we're going to be temporarily disabling the API beginning tomorrow, August 16. As with previous expansions, this is to prevent spoilers from escaping into the wild. We'll re-enable the API on August 23!

We have an update for players who were affected by last weekend's issues with the 3v3 Monthly Variety Tournament. We will be re-running the tournament on Saturday, September 7, beginning at 12:15 PM Pacific time (19:15 UTC). We apologize for the inconvenience and want to thank you for your patience while we investigated this issue. All players who participated in the tournament last Saturday will be receiving an in-game mail from our Customer Support team containing a set of PvP items. You do not need to take any action to receive these items; our Customer Support team will begin distributing them today. Thank you once again for your patience as we investigated this issue.
