Hello,
So i've played this game a bit and at first (mainly the tutorials and hub) it ran great. Smooth 60+ FPS and no hiccups.
But when i join any of the 2 battle royale gamemodes and reach the map every few second the game freezes from 1-5 seconds and this sometimes causes the game to crash (usually on death for some reason). The freezes happen both during and outside combat.
I play on:
Intel core i5-4670k 3,40GHZ
GTX760
8GB ram
Windows 7 ultimate
What i have tried:
- updating drivers
- Putting everything on performance in nvidia control panel
- Putting the video settings on the lowest possible settings (to see if it was a performance/ram issue, which doesn't seem to be the case at all)
- Tried fullscreen, windowed and borderless windowed
I've read online that it might be related to windows 7, but i am not sure. Nothing changes the issues. If the video settings are on the lowest i get on average 120-150FPS and it is very smooth but still freezes frequently. On normal settings i get 65 FPS but the exact same issue happens (duration and time between freezes does not change). Without the freezes it is otherwise a very smooth experience.
Would really appreciate some help. If this is a known problem and you are working on a fix i'd be happy to give more info if needed.
