[2020] PS4 controller sensitivity issue

whenever i use my ps4 controller to play hyperscape, pretty much everything works except that looking to the left is far quicker then looking to the right. i have not found a fix for this and no one else seems to notice it. could it be a bug in the game itself? i'd really like to hear from you because it's literally the only reason i'm not playing the game.
