Hi!
When I want to start the game an error messege pops up and says: "File corruption detected! The program will now terminate."
I bought it on steam. I tried to start it from steam and from ubisoft, but both of them led to the same result. I looked it up, but the methods in the replies didn't work. Please help me with this issue!

I apologize to anyone who may still be having trouble with this issue! Please reply with the following information at this time so we can look further into this.

- What version of Windows are you using?
- What graphics card/video driver are you using?
- Do you have both the game and the Uplay PC Launcher on the same hard drive?
- Have you tried all of these PC troubleshooting steps?

Additionally, some of our players have found that installing the game again while performing a clean boot has resolved errors and technical issues for them. Thanks!

@peti0824 Hey! Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this error message that the files are corrupted.

You mentioned that you have tried some stuff already, what have you done so far?

Can you try verifying your game files:

  1. Load Steam.
  2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... ...
  4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.


If this does not work, please also try the steps here.
