I have seen reports of a similar behaviour. Have you noticed if this only started happening after equipping the Laz Burner skin?

I have some steps for that will hopefully help, however I can't guarantee it as the workaround has not been verified. Here you go -

Step 1: Load up the game
Step 2: Alt+Tab then alt+tab back in
Step 3: Press Esc (if u see the menu buttons and options then proceed, if not then restart the game and repeat steps 1-3)
Step 4: Go ahead and go to locker and switch your character from Laz Burner
Step 5: Restart game and load back in

Ah I see, I'm sorry that did not work for you.

We don't have another workaround at this time, it is an important issue to fix because the overlay is required to play the game and navigate through it.

Once we have a fix, we will share it with players over the forums!

This issue is still being investigated and there is still no workaround at this time.
