Hi all,

When I started the game, there seemed to be a noticeable quality degradation in Full Screen on my main monitor (ROG PG279) that I did not see on my second monitor (BenQ RL2460H). There seemed to be some sort of scaling issue. After playing for some time, I decided to see if I could rectify the issue. After switching to Windowed, the game's quality appeared as I expected. I suspected that perhaps there might be an issue with duplicating my monitor to a capture card (AVerMedia Live Gamer). I turned off the monitor duplication in Windows Display settings, and that fixed the issue I was having. I've not seen this issue in other games so I suspected it might be local to Hyper Scape. I could not find any other forum posts related to this being an issue, but wanted to post just in case.

The screenshot below does not do the issue much justice, but if you look at the circled areas you can see that there seems to be a scaling or quality issue. The image on top is of the game in Full Screen while duplicating the monitor. The image on bottom is in Windowed while duplicating the monitor. Looking at the FPS counter, cross-hair, the quality of the bot and its health bar we can see the differences.

Hey, JustD5!

Welcome to the forums and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Can we ask what is your refresh rate of your monitors?

Also what is your FOV set to in fullscreen mode and is it different in borderless mode? Is the game running the same resolution in fullscreen as it is in borderless?

Can you also advise us of what GPU and CPU you are using please.

The only thing changed was the display mode from Full-Screen to Windowed. I did not try Borderless at the time, but I just gave it a test like full screen the game looks as it was intended. The GPU is a NVIDIA 2080 TI and CPU is i5-8600K. The Avermedia is the Live Gamer 4k and can capture at 144hz. I would try more screenshots but I'm not sure I can capture the quality well without the file being compressed better than I already have.
Thank you for getting back to us JustD5 and also thanks for providing the requested information along with the images. Does this also happen in 1920x1080p? Please remember that the game is in the technical test phase at the moment so may not be fully optimized for 4K.

Looking forward to your reply, thanks!
