Reaching the Ark Pass level after the update next week is totally fine! As long as you reach the appropriate level before the skins go away, you’ll be able to purchase them.

Thanks for taking the time to type this up! I think one of the biggest things that intimidates new players is the emergent community meta that happens in end game raids, especially if you don’t have a static group. You have to learn not only all of the in-game mechanics themselves, but also the different language that players use and the player enforced mechanics/standard of how to accomplish things. This post is rad and I could see it being super helpful for newer players!!

Ich gehe in solchen SItuationen immer lieber voran und rede mit der Community, teile alle verfügbaren Infos und stell sicher, dass sie von so vielen wie möglich gesehen werden

Unfortunately having our game be a vector for fraud has negative impacts on us as well; it’s not a good position to be in to provide easy options for committing stolen credit card fraud. Players absolutely should enable 2FA and make sure their accounts are as secure as possible, but we don’t want to leave paths open for this kind of behavior, either.

Those measures are separate from the 3 day gold hold, but as bot pops continue to decrease we definitely do want to revisit some of these restrictions that are negatively impacting real players

There’s a very high risk of this occurring with hacked or stolen Steam accounts, in which case a user’s account being older wouldn’t make much of a difference

This was put in place in order to prevent fraudulent transactions within the games and ensure making purchases in Lost Ark is not a vector for bad actors to make money off of stolen credit cards or Steam accounts. I know it’s a very frustrating feature for normal players, but the good news is implementing this feature lead to a significant drop off in the amount of fraudulent behavior in-game, to the point where we have not had to implement any number of additional anti-fraud features.

Appreciate this piece of feedback. We’re definitely discussing server merge options, and I know in the past we have lowered some requirements for co-op quests. I’ll make sure that’s back on the table as well if it might assist with helping players complete some of this content.

The progression events referenced at the end of that article are the ongoing ones that are available now! Nothing new quite yet in April.

It’s a date confirmation for folks who were looking to know when the patch was coming ahead of time. As always, patch notes will be available next Tuesday, but now you know it IS next Tuesday and is not probably next Tuesday.
