Greetings Commanders,

To X a Thief

Channel your inner cat burglar on May 27th at 5:00PM (PDT) with the upcoming Fantomex Event Campaign, "To X a Thief." When the dashing mutant thief Fantomex senses something is off with a job, he brings his purloined goods to the X-Men to get their help to find out who set him up. This event will once again feature the new Heroic Difficulty, which will require at least five characters with the limited-time "Debonair" trait. The Heroic Difficulty will reward Teal gear and completing a Heroic Difficulty mission will automatically earn First Time Rewards for both the Hard and Heroic Difficulties. Don't miss your chance to score Fantomex shards and recruit this International Mutant Man of Mystery to your roster.

It is public, so third parties can use the API.

For players that have pre-existing accounts on MSF.gg, be sure to login and sync your in-game account to your MSF.gg account if you wish to retain the information associated with your MSF.gg account. In your profile dropdown menu, go to the Settings page and select “Link to MSF”.

And...it fails of course

This should now be corrected, please try again and let us know if the problem persists.

For a short time after 5:00PM PDT today, players that tried to log in to the game saw an Anomaly Detected error. The problem has been fixed and anyone that encountered this error should restart the game client and you can now log in. We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.

Over the weekend there was an issue in the first round of Cosmic Crucible where two players in a match that both cleared the same number of rooms and had similar ending results may not have seen the player with the most Victory Points determined as the winner. We have diagnosed the issue and it will be corrected for the next edition of Cosmic Crucible, coming later this week.

We will be sending out general compensation soon to all players at Commander Level 60+, which will include Crucible Credits and Elite Crucible Credits.

With this being the Pre-season, the issue will have a negligible long term impact on player rankings in the Crucible. We greatly appreciate players that reported the issue, so we could quickly identify and address it.

I'm really hoping for some charity from scopley on Kate and Echo. I nearly have the rest of YA at 7 stars but these 2 are still sitting at 3. It would be great if they made them farmable before the next scourge event. Just being able to reach 5 or even 4 stars on those would make a huge difference.

That’s 100% why they were not farmable

Greetings Commanders,

There’s a lot of exciting information to share today, so first a quick reminder that information is subject to change before going live in the game. All right, let’s do this thing…

The Famine Horseman: Rogue

Apocalypse has chosen his second Horseman: Rogue! This powerful Mutant will lead the team of Unlimited X-Men, consisting of the recently announced Gambit, Fantomex, and Dazzler. The fifth and final member accompanying Rogue in Version 6.2 will be announced soon, so check back weekly. The Unlimited X-Men will specialize in tipping the scales of battle in Cosmic Crucible – a major source of Teal gear. Start powering up your A-Force, Young Avengers, and Inhumans teams to ensure you have a shot at recruiting Rogue during the first run of the Famine Scourge Event. Let's get familiar with Apocalypse's newest Horseman…

There is currently an issue where players that were below Level 60 before the release of version 6.1 and subsequently achieved Level 60 are not able to access Cosmic Crucible. The team is actively working on correcting the problem but it is unlikely to be resolved for the first round of Cosmic Crucible. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated on our progress.

In last Friday’s dev blog, there was a screenshot showing some of the rewards for Cosmic Crucible. Upon review, we discovered that the rewards were not correct and we are working to update them prior to the start of the pre-season this week. In the meantime, here’s the table showing the correct rewards that you should see in-game soon: https://marvelstrikeforce.com/en/updates/cosmic-crucible-rewards

Due to a technical issue, there will be a slight delay in the daily update that happens at 5:00PM (PDT). This shouldn't last more than 15 minutes but we'll keep you posted if there is a further delay.
