Happy New Year! It's time for the first snapshot of 2022 to hit the shelves. This development will be leading up to the release of version 1.18.2. With this release we aim to address a few issues before moving on and starting with the Wild Update snapshots.

This snapshot contains tweaks to the world seed input and adds a new placefeature command. On top of that, it also fixes a bunch of bugs.

I am wondering if this bug with Withers and Evokers is used a lot in Bedrock.

Personally, I think even if it is (and I imagine it definitely is), I'm leaning towards it should be fixed anyway because Sculk spreading is meant to be the designed alternative. Thoughts?

Bedrock tech players, I have a question. I've recently stumbled upon a bug where Withers and Evokers drop XP even without players killing them, similar to Piglin XP farms.

The idea with Sculk was to fix the angry Piglin XP bug while providing Sculk as a way to passively farm XP.

I'm really excited with how the Sculk Catalyst is coming along, been working very hard with @gnembon_mc and others to bring it to life. It has been really great to have someone like gnembon help shape its design keeping tech players in mind. I hope to share more in the future!
