New infecteds add only 30 seconds to the countdown
This is also how it worked last game. ( infinite warfare ). If you add up all the time down to the last survivor, it's a little longer than 10 minutes, which is a good match length

Hey OP - thank you for the post. We investigated this and want to share what happened here.
We found a bug in our patch system where a small percentage of players were not able to properly obtain the latest patch, meaning this percentage of players were not getting matchmade with the larger playerbase who are on the latest patch. This lobby formed as a result of that bug and since there were so few players playing on the older patch, you all ended up playing together.
We're actively rolling out a fix for this on the backend and have a fix for our patching system that will go live with our next title update so we can prevent this from happening in the future. Hope this provides some insight and apologies for the bug!

This isn't helpful. I replied that I checked specialist and it's working as intended. I did check for myself. The tacticals and lethals issue was already confirmed to be fixed in an upcoming patch by me. This user's question is specifically asking about specialist, which is a preset list of perks that we pick.

Ok thanks. I had to make an exception for infected on 2v2 maps, so that should also get fixed when the fix for the tacticals and lethal options get fixed.

You'd be surprised how often that leads to new ideas. Realism mode / modifier was born out of a bug in gun game
Even if this is unintentional I like it as it allows the player to get the challenge done while helping the team. I'll try to make sure this stays as a valid strategy for these unlocks.

We had to find a way even though it doesnt look spot on all the time. Characters wear NVGs in NVG maps.

I was wrong. At the time I answered the question it was in test and was looking pretty good. Its still not ready for showtime.

Edit: Ok, no idea why this is getting downvoted. If I go into custom match, the specialist perks work fine. This is why I asked for more info. Downvoting means people will not be able to see my responses and I'm not going to post in every thread. If you want me to stop answering threads on this reddit, this is how you do it.
Patch came out, others were fixed but this still isn’t working.
We have a fix ready, it just didn’t make it into this patch. Should be good to go in the next one.
