I have never experienced it in singleplayer but if it happens there I do not want to damage my hearing.

My apologies, this issue has been reported in multiplayer only so far.

We are aware of the "sound of doom" problem and are doing everything we can to resolve the issue. In the meantime, you should consider lowering the Master Volume from the Game Options or muting the game altogether.

Please be aware that these sudden volume increases may damage your hearing, so you might want to refrain from playing the game for a short while. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: If you are experiencing this issue while playing the game through Steam, please try deleting all files in the "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Sounds" folder and then validate your game files by right-clicking the game in your Steam Library and selecting "Properties... > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files..." If the issue persists after this it would help us greatly if you could reach out to us here and let us know.

Right now, with the game being in Early Access, we don't fully support mods. We suggest people explore these places because we have a large modding community that may be able to help with modding related issues.

We are actively working on them right now, but it may be some time before we see them in-game/on steam.

The best place to seek support with mods would be our official modding forums or the community modding Discord server.

We don't have a timeframe on when Steam workshop support will arrive just yet, but it is something that we are actively working on!

What is to prevent a dev from taking their ♥♥♥♥♥♥, incomplete project, and releasing it under the guise of "early access", while SLOWLY making minor updates to the game? With Bannerlord, it feels like we got 20% of a game on release and now we're at about 50% 9 months later. Baldurs' Gate 3 released their "early access" allowing characters to literally only play one act and get to level 4 max but the game still cost $60.

Does no one realize what a slipperly slope it is to reward developers for work they "promise" to complete at a later date? Often times, it's not even up to the developers. They ALL have bosses and execs who I GUARANTEE care more about...

A block is active from practically the moment you start it to the moment you release it. However, your weapon needs to collide with the enemy weapon to actually block it. If you are being hit while holding the correct block direction, there is a good chance that the attack is bypassing your block completely. For example, if you are holding left block, depending on how your body is aligned with your opponent there is a chance you could be hit around the block, with the attack connecting with your shoulder.

We manually review player reports and logs so it might take a short while for us to get around to each case.

I just checked your account and it seems that you were trolling your teammates by pushing ladders down while you were attacking in siege. Considering that the report was made some time ago and that you haven't been reported since then, I've gone ahead and lifted the ban. Please be nice to your fellow players!

We will be opening servers for the beta e1.5.5 version tomorrow afternoon. We plan to leave them open over the weekend, or perhaps longer, to give you all time to test the changes to MP and share your feedback.
